I've seen some chatter online the last week or so and was curious to what others think. Also if anyone on here is a wanna-be Omar Khan and has a good grasp of salary cap implications...

Hunter Renfrow...while he might have a big cap number with his current contract ($11 million I believe), he would be a lethal option to solidify an already good group. Extending him would be an option, which would cut the cap down. I know there's plenty of ways they could make cap space, just wondering what others think

(renfrow went to my high school so I'm definitely a bit of a homer)

He carries a cap hit of over $13 million for 2023 and the Steelers would have to give something up in trade to get him. I like Renfrow and he would certainly be a great addition, but I'm not sure how that is realistic.

DJ is honestly the best candidate for slot WR.

He can definitely run the best 13 yard pattern to gain us 7 yards.

They will probably draft somebody and try to patch it together between them Austin & Miller

I dont see them trading for an expensive veteran like Renfrow

Pass, way too expensive for a slot WR, they would be better off drafting one in the mid rounds.

Not often I like any of the moves the Browns make but I think they got a great deal when they traded for Elijah Moore from the Jets. They gave up a second round pick but got a third round pick in return.

Id have taken that all day for the Steelers for a young slot receiver with a lot of upside and two years left on his deal. Of course it’s fair to question why the Jets are happy to move on but he showed a lot of promise on the field when he played with any of the QB’s not named Zach Wilson and I think he will do well in Cleveland

The Jets diminished his role and playing time last season, which isn't a great sign. His trade demands during the season went public, too, which also isn't great. I don't think there are many Jets fans crying over seeing him go.

This. We have a guy who may because very slot receiver in CA III, and we can add another slot-capable guy in the middle rounds like Mims or Charlie Jones (there are a few others too).

I’ll duck as I put this out there, but I really like James Washington and think the Steelers never schemed him well or helped him fit better. But they might be able to get him for minimum cost and decent depth.

He’s with the Giants now, but they could probably find some deep roster trade candidate for him.

    Did he play special teams?

No. That was part of the problem with Washington. He wasn't good enough to be a starter and he doesn't play special teams.

Yes all true, but at that price it’s worth a swing on him. Nobody is questioning his talent
