Correction..no qb being taking until the 20s and Carolina showing they traded up for will Anderson and not a qb as teams don't reach for those guys anymore based on last yr.

ika was in for a visit. they met twice now with smith, including a dinner. i wouldn't say they are not looking for one. they are looking for one that can do more than just play NT and smith does fit that bill. ika is not but he may be able to play in two down sub packages, but probably not.

Apparently, quality trolling requires creativity that plagiarists lack. Do better, egg.

Right or wrong. Did any qb needy team trade up or reach for a qb in the 2022 nfl draft?

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards a WR on day 2.

They pretty much have to. They didn’t sign a FA and they aren’t going to put all their eggs into the Austin basket.

Question is will it be one of their 2nd rd picks or will they use the 3rd. The 2nd rd has been their sweet a spot.

    Left tackle at 17.

    Corner at 32.

Edge at 49. I'm warming up to them drafting an Edge player here that can come in and contribute as well as if an injury brings an above the line effort instead of throwing out bodies. Such an important position that they can't have them suffer with another injury of either Watt or Highsmith.

Corner at 80. They need to due to Witherspoon and Wallace both being UFA after 23. Peterson will have another year.

Rumors of them trading up to 8 with Chicago. Dangling Dotson might help and I would still move him but I would stick with 17. But you never know that's what the excitement of the draft is all about. Seems with this rumor they are looking at one of the top left tackles.

And cut that garbage Kendrick Green!

I'm not a fan either, but apparently the Steelers are HUGE fans, so much so they'll take him at 17 if one or 2 guys aren't there.

If they did take Ringo it better be at #32, and not at #17 that's too high for him.

Agree. NOT a Mingo guy. He needs refinement and Steelers not great at that

In no way does that support the argument you've been pushing or refute my claim that you are trolling. Pickett went where he belonged, late in the first round.

I'm loving the idea of Van Ness or Myles Murphy falling to #17. I'd prefer VN, but both guys are really good pass rushers with size and length. Both could come in and be part of the edge rotation this year. And kick inside next to Cam on passing downs. They can both easily carry another 20-25 lbs, with the idea that one of them will replace Cam in a year or so.

Heck, I'd double dip at #49 if Benton or Dexter were there. We still haven't replaced Tuitt, let alone being prepared to lose Cam. He'll be 34 this year. He could hit the wall at any time.

I would be shocked if they don't take OL, or CB at #17.

skoronski, porter, gonzales, branch would be the only guys (that should still be there) that i would move up for and porter is on the edge of that and second to gonzales and branch. i wouldn't have a problem with skoronski in the least over johnson and i'm an OSU fan. yes good but not great especially to move up for. pretty much the same competition that johnson faced in the big 10. mazi and washington or mayer or musgrave are all in the running without moving up or with some, moving down. i think any of these guys listed will help the team.
