This to me is what cost him his job at ESPN, thanks to the NFL

ESPN fires anybody who doesn't tow their line. Speak your mind or make light hearted comments and it's out the door you go unless ......... I'll just stop there.

Still remember him analyzing Devin Bush; He said Fact is he’s just not a very good football player at this point. He was working for the Steelers and in the building when he said that. Appears to have the eye and brutal honesty for the job. Like it!

Rooney's should have listened to him back then. I don't watch college football but when he walked out with that weird outfit on draft day I knew this guy was going to be out of place. Didn't know much about him to say bust back then but trading up to get him sure proves that now.

I was wrong about JM. I know he had Evans but to put up 400 yards against Bama. Just never saw it. I do think the Browns have ruined decent QBs though IMO.

Well Johnny didn't play long enough to get ruined. He only played 14 games, and started 8 in His whole NFL career.
Although I hear what you mean.

Hoge was right in predicting Manziel aas a bust, but I'm not sure for the reasons he cited in that clip. Manziel's problems were more about maturity than his game or skills imo.

No the reasons were correct, but you could argue that the maturity level contributed to him not developing those skills. Those guys don't usually succeed in the NFL. They don't have the ability to accurately diagnose their own problem areas and develope past them.

That's why Kenny looks like he might stick for a bit. He's in the room with the coaches before they give the gameplan to the rest of the team, so he has the ability to suggest things he saw on tape. He's working on things that he needs fixed this offseason, from his own mouth.

Good. And good on Weidl so far. Change was very much needed with our player acquisition process.

    Both are good additions.
I like how Omar surrounds himself with people that can help. He has no insecurities.

Who knows. Maybe the right coach with the right system and the right personnel, he could have had an okay career. If you have to put that much into a #1 overall pick, then he's probably a middle 3rd rounder. I don't watch a whole lot of college ball, so I had only heard that he received some strong reactions, both pro and con when he was chosen. Then I saw him play and it was no surprise that the Browns took him first overall. They put the dys in dysfunction.
