I don't know why people are disagreeing. It made absolutely no sense to call that play. They were in FG range and another score puts them up 3 scores while draining the clock.

Harbaugh? That fool calls some stupid crap every year costs them games in crucial situations.

Zac Taylor has won more playoff games in the last 2 years than Mike has in 12. I really don’t understand the MT obsession around here. The guy flat out sucks in the biggest games for us.

Hopefully MT is here for another decade. I for one really enjoy either not making the playoffs or getting beat by 25 in Rd 1. Good times.

Not everyone. The ones are just afraid of change. Tomlin keeps them warm and fuzzy with his over the top cliche's and coach speak. The way he breaks down the other teams players and glorifies them as he should be really concentrating on his own players. They brag to their friends how he has never had a losing season and when asked why the lack of playoff success they say he always puts us close. Not close enough for my liking. But that's just me.
Then they say "Who do you think can replace him"? Look at some of the young coaches I mentioned. Guess they just popped out of the ground.

No matter Art II is comfortable. I'm sure he will get a contract extension. Don't be surprised if they extend Canada upon Tomlin's wishes.

The coaches I indicated are ahead of him at this point.

We shall see how the team does this season. I am excited to see the additions that Khan and Weidl bring on board.

The roster that Tomlin walked into was a perfect situation. Franchise QB in place. Solid strong Defense. That has to be admitted. The whole Cowhers players is overplayed.

Well since He has coached four years. ANd has 2 bad losing season, and 2 great seasons.....sue Me that I don't jump on a yet undecided bandwagon yet. He also has the 2nd best Qb in the whole NFL.
Remind Me....Even though I'm a huge Ben fan.....when was He the guaranteed 2nd best Qb in the NFL???....., and do We have the 2nd best Qb in the NFL right now????

Tomlin is a dummy also. the onside kick, ~2 mins left vs. Jax, 2017 playoff game. idiot

KICK THE BALL OFF, make your Defense stop them, he had TO's left.

    Tomlin does dumb stuff too....

and Tomlin allows inmates to run the asylum, if you will. for way too long. Players coach is great.....until the players ARE the coach :to keep order:

EDIT - I forgot in my list, the new cat in NY, they don't want or need Tomlin either....

That was a dumb play, but You would be hard pressed not to find dumb decisions by other coaches if You are honest with yourself.
Just this playoff season .....I seen so many dumb decisions, and poor clock management by many HC , and they were all in the playoffs. So...

Hof qb spots the browns 28 points in the first quarter and it’s the coach’s fault? SMH

LMAO, great response. I have just quit with this stuff. From this to mock drafts, trading KP and Highsimth and getting the 6th and 16th picks, and ending up with 8 picks in the first 3 rounds, to to the click bait frauds who think we are going to sign and trade for every available top player available, I rest until draft day lol..

but the excitement of getting that non-losing season holds us annually to our seats. My drawers are stained as badly as the Browns helmets, not sure I could stand a play off vistory.

Yeah absolutely. We had a HoF center snap a ball over the QB's head in that game too. When you go back to back home playoff games where you are heavy favorites and go down 21 and 28 to ZERO respectively.... yeah its on the coach. The players bear responsibility too, but ultimately in the NFL a team going up 20+ points to ZERO implies that the team was ill-prepared or completely out coached.

No. It implies the players screwed up. The coaches aren’t throwing the ball. The coaches aren’t snapping the ball. The coaches aren’t kicking the ball

Some Steeler fans acting like Harbaugh is some elite coach, he's a good coach but him and Tomlin are probably even, even though the Steelers have won 5 of 6 against the Ravens .

Ben threw 3 first half interceptions against the Browns, plus not recovering that fumble on the first play is why they were down 28-0.

Tomlin is one of the highest paid head coaches in the NFL, he deserves a lot of blame, especially the way our defense played in the last 4 playoff losses, especially against the Pats and Jags...it was embarrassing how it was easy for opposing offenses to score against our pathetic playoffs defense!

Ben deserves the blame for the loss to the Browns and in 2021 the entire team was just awful but in 2017 with at least 10 pro bowl caliber players on that team against the Jags it was unacceptable....and playing the same ******* defense against Brady in 2016, even if it never worked, it was also very frustrating.... The pats were better but the gameplan of Tomlin and Butler was just ******* atrocious and give the steelers zero chance :frustrated::frustrated::frustrated::frustrated:

Then why does Bill Belichick get credit for being a great coach? He didn't throw any passes, snap any balls, make any game winning field goals. Why then? Why does everyone think Matt Canada sucks? He doesn't throw the passes, make any blocks, or run the football. It must just be the players letting him down. Right?

It really is a bad argument you're choosing to go with. The point is that the coach puts players and teams in position to win by motivating, game-planning, adjusting, making good in-game decisions, etc. It's never solely on any one person or coach, but its impossible to argue that Tomlin did everything in his power and did a great job only for his team to fail him. Twice, on separate occasions.... In the exact same manner.
