just some guys i would like to see us target in this draft. no certain order or position but guys that may help this year and maybe down the road.

mazi smith is one. think he should be one we prioritize early. hoping he fits what we do as a NT or even when we go to two down linemen. i think he has enough quickness that he could fill a role as a DE in a pinch of our 3-4.

daiyan henley is another. had a tremendous senior bowl. i think this is a guy that could be like timmons was for us. make that move inside and in certain situations rush from the edge. he's good in coverage and makes a lot of tackles. another priority guy.

sydney brown is another. upgrade the safety spot. he does a lot of things well.
christopher smith is another. see above. he also does a lot of things well. take your pick. both are good.
i don't think branch will be there when we pick but if he is there is the other option at safety. any of these guys help and can be used in multiple roles.

i still like riley moss as a corner. he's a talented guy. tyrique stevenson doesn't get enough praise either. there are some top corners in this draft and there are some top corners not in the first as well. 1st doesn't make them the best or the best fit. give me guys that will help the team and not keep us from picking or missing out on other positions of need just to take one early. there is talent in this draft at this spot and we should take advantage. they are plentiful this year. more than any year i can remember.

carter warren the tackle from pitt i think can fill a role for us. again though there are some very good o-linemen in this draft. there will be good ones after this draft as well. we need to load up. let's take advantage of the ones here and what pat meyer can do while we have him here. depth a plenty.

what say you? where do you see us going in this one? no STD we can't draft all corners either. :smiley1::cool:

I like Mazi Smith. I think he'll still be there at 32.

And if they listened to me last year and drafted Tariq Woolen, they wouldn't need a #1 CB that has the size and speed to cover Chase and Higgins :hehehe:.

i think bringing back sutton is job one. wallace with him and maulet and fitzpatrick can make up the core. pierre isn't that bad of depth. kazee would be a nice help but we shall see if they can pull that off.

a defensive lineman. smith would fill a big urgent need along with what we have as young players (wren, marshall) leal, adams, loudermilk and cam.

ILB. henley would fill a void along with jack and robinson and ugbule. he could also help on the outside along with roche.

safety. brown, smith, brents would be very nice and needed players at a position we need some play makers. riley, kazee if possible, norwood, killebrew would put us in pretty good shape back there. i think this spot is a huge need for an upgrade.

corner. very deep class so drafting one will only give us flexibility to the position. i don't think we need to use a first on a dream of a shut down guy. it's a roll of the dice. sutton back gives us some cohesion and any addition we make gives us a chance of seeing a nice return on our investment.

o-lineman. warren. would be very nice depth and maybe more. i like dan moore and think he ends up being pretty solid for us. depth right now is our concern.

this would do wonders if the first group i mentioned are brought back. the last two picks could be depth at any of the spots. in this one, i'd double up one the o-line and corner since they are the deepest positions in this one. QB may be an option.
