I'll wait till senior bowl/combine/Fa period. It's all good though to talk football with other passionate fans.

I've truly only followed this for two years now, but I don't recollect mocks being this far apart. The only consistency is that there will be a run on OT/CB in the 1st round. That C from Minnesota has been has high as 15 in some mocks and as low as the middle of the 3rd round. Same with Calijah Kancy being as high as 10 and as low as the early 3rd round. It's really making it hard for me to project how this will shake out. Maybe after Sr. Day the picture will be clearer.

USA Today like Boderick Jones, OT; Ika, DT; and Brents CB.

I really like this. Even though id rather Kancey or Drew Sanders over Ika, and Benton as the DLman

Ika is not immovable. Frankly for how big he is, he gets washed too often on run plays. He is more of a pass rushing DT who 'looks' like a Hampton type DT.

I'd rather have Kancey, Benton, and a few other DTs who are actually stout against the run.

There is a difference between expectations and what people are seeing bon film.

The likes of Kancey, Schmidt and Adeboware just look better on tape that most analysts expect. The shock forces some to put them in the 1st round while others don't want to buy what they see.

Personally, I like players who dominate over measurements.

I really hope we can trade back at 17 and pick up a 3rd and a 4th. There are so many good row players we can profit from having 7 picks in the top 100.

Almost every year I want to trade down in the 1st. This year I don’t. Looking at all of the various player rankings out there it seems to me that #17 is a good spot. There are enough highly rated corners that it’s likely that a guy like Cam Smith or Gonzalez will be there for us, especially if 3-4 QBs are taken high. I’d like to spend pick #17 on the guy who best fits our needs at CB, and then be open for business to deal pick #32 for the right price. I’m pretty locked in on corner at #17 unless a Top 10 talent at DL or LT fall into our lap there. In that case, I would consider taking the DL or LT and then maybe seek to move up from #32 for the corner.
