Boy, i hope they can bring Larry O back.

Be nice to resign Kazee and Spillane too.

Wormley’s been a decent player too, but I’m hoping Loudermilk and Leal can take over his role.

    SIGNINGS
Cameron Sutton - Our #1 priority this off-season to retain. This team will SORELY miss our only good corner leaving via FA. Can't let that happen. 5 years 42 million.
Larry Ogunjobi - I would like to keep him, but would be fine if he walked too. 3 years 18 million
Terrell Edmunds - Another guy I'd like to keep on an inexpensive deal. 2 years 7 million.
Damonte Kazee - Keep. Wouldn't be terrifically expensive either. 2 years 6 million.
Zach Gentry - Team likes him and he's good enough at what he does. 3 years (not sure on money 6-8 million?).

    MAYBE
I'm on the fence with Reed and Spillane. Neither should be starters, but both were fine depth.
Spillane - We should be drafting an ILB early and I hope Robinson passes him by next season. It would be a mistake to sign him to a multi year extension worth much more than vet minimum.
Reed - Not much depth here, but Jones looked fine too. I would say its a coin flip as long as he's fairly cheap.

    NAH
The rest can probably walk without much of a second thought. Watt is likely the only one that has a chance, and as long as we don't over-invest money-wise he would be a fine enough retention.

Agree with this, losing Sutton would be a disaster. I think they need to keep Ogunjobi as well, or sign a comparable player in free agency, they are thin on the ground usually however. Bringing Edmunds and Kazee back on modest deals would be good too

Sutton and Ogunjobi are the only difference makers. Leal may give the Steelers what Ogunjobi gives, but it would be nice for the Leal to be the depth piece. They need four d-linemen, not counting NT. I am fine with Loudermilk being #4, but I don't think I want him #3. Edmonds, Kazee, Watt, and Spillane I would be comfortable signing if I could not find upgrades.

Epic disaster if Sutton walks. I doubt we let that happen, as I think we are probably just getting taken to the bank by Sutton. It looks to me that Sutton is just using FA as a leverage to get the best deal possible for him. I'm fairly certain that we would be willing to pay him whatever anyone else would be willing to.

I like what Leal brought to the table this year and he very well might make Ogunjobi expendable. Ideally a 2-3 year deal to Larry while Leal works in a rotation with Heyward (keeping him fresh in his old age) and Ogunjobi would be where we want to be. Loudermilk is fine enough depth. We can keep Adams in the middle and either draft or sign a cheap vet to rotate/back him up.

If they could sign that list, find enough for a mid tier ILB it would make the draft really interesting. The first 2 picks need to be starting calibar, but resigning those would create depth we are missing as well.

    MY FA List as follows:
QB - Jacoby Brissett - I'm cutting Trubisky
QB - Taylor Heinecke - See above
WR - Jarvis Landry - Should be cheap and would be a great mentor in a young WR room
OT - Orlando Brown - Not sure he will be available, but he would be a huge move.
OG - Not sure here, but someone could potentially help in this area
ILB - Tremaine Edmunds - Would be a big splash at the position
ILB - Kwon Alexander - Good player and a bit cheaper

Lots of positions could be had depending on what we do with our own pending FA's.

Dan Moore played better down the stretch, to the point where he could be considered serviceable going in to 2023? If a Tackle they like falls to them in the draft they should take them but I’m not sure it’s a position I’d want to fill in free agency, it’d be really expensive to sign Orlando Brown and would really limit what they could do elsewhere

ILB seems to be a hex with this team, huge need every single offseason.

Landry is a good suggestion, very dependable receiver that should really help Kenny out

Unfortunately Moore is just out of place. Okorafor is probably better suited at LT and Moore better suited for RT, but for some reason Chuks just is better on the right. We kinda have our RT playing LT and vice versa. Moore is serviceable, but could be upgraded. I wonder if we get a high end LT, if we dont just kick Moore into LG. He's a very good run blocker, and it might help with his struggles with speed rushers in pass pro. Thats his only real major weakness.

Yeah, ever since Shazier's injury we've been snakebitten here. Missed big on Bush. Jack is a fine player, but more of a complementary piece. I would imagine we fill this position in the draft, and do so with one of our first 3-4 picks. Jack-Rookie with Spillane and Robinson as back ups looks a lot better than what we had this year.

I definitely like the idea of Landry, but really any decent vet receiver who would be a great locker room presence/mentor would fit here. Someone who can play slot would be ideal. We still have Austin 3 to look forward to next season and Sims earned a spot on the roster as WR5/KR/PR. Pickens/DJ/Landry/Austin3/Sims is a great start. 6th WR could be a ST player if we have the room for it on the roster.
