When we were tanking at the beginning of the season I kept saying this guy is a bust. I now take back those comments. Obviously he was hurt and our Oline was still raw.

Very well deserved for Najee to be Steelers Digest Player of the week.

I’ve found that it’s best to let things play out and not be too quick with the judgment.

He was fantastic last night. It was an All Pro caliber effort. If the guy we saw last night is what we get going forward, I may need to eat crow for my “never draft a RB in the 1st round” stance.

If nothing else than for grabbing the mic from the NBC post-game reporter and singing KP's praises :applaud:

But seriously, dude seems to be on a mission.

I never ever never ever never believe in drafting a RB, or a Wr in the 1st round, but......
with all that said.....I really don't know how anyone has watched Najee, and not thought He was good.
Some dude puts out a video of a hole opening up....after He's already committed to the run(same dude that put out a video of a wide open wrs after Ben was already throwing the ball), and everyone automatically said....He doesn't see the holes, or He's dancing too much. LoL.
Again I wouldn't have drafted Him, but I'm proud He is a Steeler.

He was dancing last night. He did the Monster Mash all over the Ratbirds defense.

He has definitely come on second half but he’s already two years in and the Steelers barring a miracle won’t make the playoffs this year. If they do I can’t see them scoring enough points to beat teams like KC/Buffalo/Cincy in rd 1. So the shelf life of a RB is normally 3/4 years and we are halfway there. Are the Steelers contenders next year? Lots would have to go right otherwise it’s a luxury pick that we won’t get the ultimate return on.

Lynn Swann, Louis Lipps, Plaxico Burress and Santonio Holmes were first round WRs. They turned out pretty good for the Steelers.

Yes they are, but doesn't mean We couldn't have gotten good ones later.
AB, Wallace, Sanders, Randle El, Hines Ward, Hastings, and Stallworth just to name a few..all came later than 1st round ,and they were great also.
