This might go down as the second worst trade in NFL history, with the Cowboys trading Herschel Walker to the Vikings as the worst. Denver owed Seattle first and second round picks in 2022 and 2023 yikes, and they owe Wilson over 160 million guaranteed. Part of what made Wilson a good QB was that he could scramble and make throws down the field, now he looks slow and takes more sacks, while also throwing interceptions.

Not surprising that Nathaniel Hackett has been shown the door by Bronco's GM George Paton. Looks like he whiffed on his first two major tasks: hiring a head coach and acquiring a starting QB. Maybe Wilson can be salvaged but he looks washed to me. So, they are without a first-round pick in '23 and on the hook for a big pile of cash for Wilson. They've missed the playoffs for the last seven seasons including this one. People that believe that the Steelers aren't headed in the right direction only need reference the Bronco's situation to realize that Steeler Nation has hope and faith for the most part.

The Broncos have a 1st round pick from the Chubb trade. SF's 1st round pick from Miami.

I wouldn't put it past Sean Payton to be able to turn it all around for Denver.

Unlike Players coaches can be traded for money; So, if Denver can get away with just Paying the Saints CASH money and not multiple 1st round picks to bring in Sean Payton, they may be able to turn around the franchise sooner rather than later.

    I mean...

If the Chargers do indeed fire Brandon Staley... Dean Spanos should do all he can to nab Payton. Mind you that one of Payton's preferred spots was the Chargers.. or rather because of Justin Herbert. Mind you all, I HATE Dean Spanos but I am a huge Justin Herbert fan.

Would be very thrilling and horrifying for me at the same time! :lolol:

    By Patrick Star no less.

It is bad enough when you have a horrific season; doubly so by your own standards. It is worse when you are being roasted to the crisp by one of the most iconic Kids Cartoons.

LOL. Lovie Smith is getting roasted by the Houston fans for winning that last game. Lovie knew he was not coming back next season, so why not go for 2 and the win; costing the Texans the overall #1 Draft Pick!

You think Spanos would actually hire a GOOD coach? Look what they did to Schottenheimer. 14-2 and ran him out of town like a common pygmy!

I always thought that Lovie got a raw deal with the Bears. I mean he took the Bears to the Superbowl with Rex Grossman as QB. Then after a 10-6 season he was canned. I thought he did a good job in Chicago.

Funny I think this is what the Denver Broncos are looking at the most now.

Spanos family has had that franchise since 1980s. They are horrible owners.

Marty had Brees in his first playoff and lose on missed field goal. Then he has Rivers in his first playoff and they lose when some dummy defense player tries to return a 4th down game over type pick, and Brady and Pats go on to the win. Marty's built good teams but he seemed cursed in the playoffs.
