Steelers vs Raiders 1972 box score

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the immaculate reception and with @SteelerGlenn and sometimes an unmentionable posting the box score after the games figured this was fitting.

I know @Karl mentioned he was there, but would love to read additional stories of those alive during this game.

That hit Tatum laid on the Fuqua would be a penalty today and most likely a fine.

Many of Tatum's hits would be a penalty today and most likely a fine... He would be banned from the game.
The Raiders were bullies at the time. We beat them early in the season, but they had something like a 21-point 4th qtr to make it close.
Lots of hard hits in that one.
then it all came to 22 seconds on the clock and 4th and 10... everything changed.
Everybody was in shock for a moment then it sank in.
