I am hoping the Texans hire him as their next head coach.

Pickett is a rookie. Does anyone really think he’s going to talk trash about his OC?

I'm going to say both. The playcalling inside the 30 does seem to change a lot from what got them inside the 30; however, Pickett missed throws, wrs dropped some of the throws and penalties stalled out the drives. Between missed throws and drops, Pickett coulda, shoulda, woulda have 4-5, if not more, TDs than he currently has.

Even though we are beating some terrible teams and the running game has improved this offense still sucks. Canada needs to go but I’m not so sure it’s a lock now if we end up like 7-10 or 8-9. Mediocrity forever!

Who cares? KP can’t bash his OC in the middle of the season off a two game winning streak, while he’s making progress.

Regardless of how the season ends, If the Steelers are smart they’ll get rid of Canada in the off-season at the latest. His jet sweeps and situational playcalling belong in division II college

I still ask, why can't I see our WR's run open like I see other teams able to do? I want
    those type of offenses.

Of course, agree. Imagine hearing KP bashing his boss in season. I can imagine what this board would be like re our OC. Wait until after he or Canada leaves and then listen to what KP says about him. Just like former Steelers players talking about their former team. It's the smart play for the future if KP is in a position to try and get on another team down the road. JMO>

I was thinking more like the girls. They'd still be favored to win the SB on all the sports shows. JMO>

When the receivers can't catches passes in stride (or otherwise), what does it matter how open they are.

He is under contract for the 2023 season. I would not be surprised that he is back. Just hoping they don't extend him.

If they let him go all the better but unfortunately I think he gets another year.

Exactly what does everyone think Pickett would say in a public forum...... He's not going to say anything negative for public scrutiny

They need to start using Pickens more in the middle of the field. That was highlighted by playing an opponent that was weak in the middle of the field.

Exactly. Of course he is going to stand by his current offensive coordinator publicly.

I think Canada is part of the problem. His offensive design isn't creating openings for the receivers often enough.

The other part is the lack of a consistent deep passing game. Until teams have to respect that, it is going to be easier for them to cover the receivers on short and intermediate routes.

Depends, if they keep winning but only scoring 19 points, it still isn’t fixed.
