Just watched a short video of Kenny praising OC Canada.
I know everyone wants to get rid of Canada, but him and Pickett have a long relationship.
Plus how long will it take to pick up on a new OCs scheme?
    Thoughts?
Btw im one of the fans that hasnt been a fan of Canada.

Both Kenny and Canada ... know, that they have alot of opportunity to grow. Maybe, they can bond and make one another better.

id love Matt Canada if he became a citizen of Canada and stayed there.Surely Kenny can learn to like someone better.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Canada is our OC in 2023 and beyond. In fact I fully expect him to return.

Changing an Offense sucks. But it is doable.
I'm not high on Canada's Offense either.

Winning makes everything better. Canada has been calling better plays lately. Really need to work on that redzone offense still.

I've mentioned this before on here...one of my greatest concerns was that Kenny would start doing so well that they would then feel obligated to keep Canada around. They win these last five and it's pretty much a given.

He has one more year on his contract for 2023. I'm still not a fan of his and I feel behind the screens he was told to calm down the trickery and focus on a solid run driven offense in which we have seen as of late.

Getting Pickens more involved will only help the passing game. thrown to 2 times against Atlanta. Joke.

Johnson needs to stop the dropsies. I've seen enough of this crap.

Muth is becoming a major threat and a safety valve for Picket.

If they bring him back hopefully they don't extend him to see if it was only Fools Gold.

Is it our OC fault or is personnel not executing in the redzone? I guess thats the million dollar question

Pickett has only known college OCs up to being drafted. He continues to only know college OCs, he has no idea how to compared to an NFL OC.

Agreed, but could they form a good connection on a NFL level of play calling, since they already have a repertoire together?
Plus we got to remember Pickett is still a rookie. A lot of learning curves.

Canada has improved in the last month all the way from being terrible to still really bad. It's the Steelers though so I don't doubt for one second he'll be the OC in 2023.

If Canada remains the OC, Pickett may end up playing in Canada.

Yeah, Im beginning to think Matt ain't goin no where.
I guess if it's best for KPs development and he continues to improve, maybe another year would be in KPs best interest?
Get him to a level where the transition to a new OC would be as seamless as possible.
As much as it sucks saying it, changing OCs and KP learning a new playbook while he's developing might be a mistake.

The last 5 seconds tells me that Canada will NOT be the Steelers’ OC in 2023. Interesting. :hmm:
