That is a dumb ****ing statement. Yes, Tomlin fosters it

Pickens' maturity was questionable coming out of college, it is well documented. Maybe Tomlin spent some time at George during the season so that he can "foster" a poor attitude in Pickens and maybe club him in the knee to help drop him to round 2. My idea sounds just as reasonable as what you just said :lolol:

But a real job isnt the same. You are not restricted from that other opportunity for the next 3yrs while under contract.

True but he was not Hines. Hines far tougher and did no dancing on home teams logos

Well... a little bit of selective memory there. He did taunt opposing fans quite a bit. Playfully, but a taunt is a taunt.

Totally agree. Was just pointing out that he did is own form of taunting that prob drove opposing fans crazy. But I'd take a team of Hines' over a team of the current crop any day.

I think you missed one. The defense has a say right?

Pickens isn't a finished product by NFL standards. He young and is still learning.

I understand. Players can and did force their way out of contracts or to be traded.

I dont know what else to say bigg, he had issues in college, thus is the main reason he wasnt drafted in first round. So to think I am going to criticize him for pouting coz he didnt get the ball thrown to him, I am just disappointed if that is the main reason he got his ass on his shoulders. Who knows it might be something else, but regardless he needs to grow up!

those things wouldnt be the players choice at a better opportunity. The team still has 100% control and would still have to release him or trade him

Were you born yesterday or do you have the old man mentality of, "don't throw the ball on my street?"

I don't think he started off badly. He had a moment of frustration. Fans like to make more of the situation than is necessary.

I don't believe in this idea that players should, "keep his mouth shut and play". '

Players............. nevermind. I think it's a YOU issue than a Pickens issue at this point.

Those are better opportunities? If the team doesnt choose to release or trade, a rookie player is stuck for 3 more years.

Probably best that he didnt...especially if he's going to be honest about the situation. If you can't say nothing nice don't say nothing at all and you know media like to make things messy.

Steelers need to address it because why? Players are human. They need a moment to decompress w/o a mic being stuck in they face trying to get info out of them they already know the answer to. What's the first thing you think they gonna ask him about? Once you tell me that, tell me what you think his is answer is gonna be...

Next week Pickens will make a great grab and all of you will suck him off again.

Let’s be real. The last real WR the Steelers had was AB. Life was miserable without that type of talent. Dare I say Pickens may be better in the future than AB (depends on Pickett)

I don’t care that he was complaining. Bout time someone on this offense showed some fire.

Pickens was completely ignored and he was upset about it in pretty much his hometown. Stupid not to get him involved.

Of course the defense, that is one reason the goes through their progression.

So were Chase and Waddle finished product by NFL standards their rookie season.
