Why I think we don't fire Canada

Who gave Canada the pics because some issues were already there?

Maybe the transition, with all that talk of being in the same facility, was too smooth and he doesn't realize he needs to earn the place with this team that he had with Pitt last year.

Then again, maybe he's just really pissed off at himself and the team around him. I can understand that, too, but he's got to be smarter about it.

A new coordinator is going to bring his playbook. With his terminology and how he wants each play blocked. Firing Canada at this juncture achieves nothing. It appease y’all, but it doesn’t do **** for the team.

While I also believe Haley is a much better OC than Canada....it would be very hard for Him to install a different system this late in the year....So ...
1. He would have to learn the vocabulary of this system
2. He would probably only be able to implement a few things new a week....,but ....
3. Even with Canada's plays.....I believe Haley could call a better game.

Several years back I read an interview with him. He talked about his “sandlot style”. In the interview he admitted it was a function of not knowing the playbook. If it was a play he didn’t know he would run around until someone was open.

They're running plays of sending out receivers long just as a distraction. There's a huge difference when a OC playbook doesn't use distractions.
