For me its not even the record or the team's play.... as I felt there was a good chance it was coming.. for me my top 3 are

3 George Pickens is an after thought....I really wanted Skyy Moore to come in and play the slot, but it was clear really early that Pickens has WR1 ability...I want to see that boy fed . 0 catches is unacceptable

    2. TJ Watt being injured. TJ is making the most money.. he needs to be on the field. I do not fault him for being injured... it happens. But u need that guy for a full season

1 Calvin Austin getting a red shirt season....i was screaming for Tariq Woolen in the 4th, but when Austin was the pick .i was more excited about him than any other pick... and he turned into a pumpkin pretty quick. Was really wanting to get a glimpse of what that speed could do for the offense

Nothing disappoints me. This is the same ole team but Ben isnt there to bail them out. Everyone knew it and now we’re seeing it in action.

Im surprised that this organization does not force Tomlin to make changes that are needed. Their old traditional ways are going to sink this team. Teams are progressing while the Steelers are clearly regressing. They need to pay their coaches and get some top coaches in here to fix this. Tomlin cannot right this ship point blank period.

The Steelers fanbase for having such unrealistic expectations for this season.

Najee Harris has to be the biggest disappointment, even allowing for the poor blocking they need much more from him. Perhaps it’s the injury or perhaps he just isn’t the difference maker they thought they were drafting. I believe he could be really good behind a better line but then again so could a lot of other backs.

Diontae has also been disappointing along with George Pickens but I think in both cases it’s a symptom of a poorly run, dysfunctional offence with a rookie QB.

I won’t say the OLine is a disappointment because they are what we thought they were, a below average unit that can’t run block. The penalties have been hugely disappointing however, every drive seems to have multiple penalties for holding, illegal formation, false starts etc. They must lead the league in offensive penalties or be very close. Unfortunately the offence doesn’t have the kind of margin for error that is needed to overcome that kind of sloppinesses.

For me also it is Austin not playing this year. I thought that he was going to be an electrifying player this year so it's disappointing he won't play.

I'll narrow it down further - biggest disappointment of this past week? Every single Pittsburgh sports team. Pens got crushed 4 in a row out west after a great start to the season ; Pitt FB got embarrassed 42-24 in North Carolina Saturday after being up by 10 with 6 minutes left in 3rd Qtr and then giving up 28 unanswered points. Steelers, a whacked out combo of Pens and Pitt.............. And on an ironic note, the Pirates led MLB in one stat last season - highest negative run/point differential at 226. The Steelers also currently lead the NFL in that stat at negative 77. Doesn't bode well for either team. Finally though, on a bright note, having Pittsburgh blood in you means being a lifelong fan of every Pittsburgh team no matter what. Not even negotiable. :thumbs up:

Brian Flores; I thought he would have been a little more involved with the Defense on the Sidelines during game. Just not up in the booth out of sight especially with TJ out.

The Offensive Team Captain. Tomlin naming Mith as Team Captain for the offense was a huge mistake; now the team captain is never on the field. It is not like we will ever see Mitch on the sidelines being a team leader, because no player wants to hear from a guy in a pretty clean uniform when they are getting their Ass handed to them on the field.

    So Brice

Are you saying you base your judgement on coaches based on if you can see them

Flores was touted as being a hands-on coach, not the big picture type of coach.

I want to see him on the sideline coaching players, not up in the booth scheming defensive formations. You are talking about a DB and LB coach that could be down on the sideline trying to figure out what the hell is going on with the players in the secondary.

I think the situation is not conducive to allowing that to happen in Austin's 1st season as DC. You have Tomlin a former DC and then Flores a former DC and HC so it could be considered as undercutting a new DC. So at least for this year it more comfortable to have Austin on the field and Flores in the booth so Tomlin can ask him advice. Or you know that is just the way Tomlin wants it.

If he was the DC, I'm sure he would be on the sideline, I don't think it really matters they don't have enough talent.

I was willing to give Canada a lot of slack because Ben was limited last season but I'm not inclined to do the same now. So my biggest disappointment is that in 24 games we have witnessed nothing like a complete game in all phases but especially on offense. At this point they should have stumbled into a good performance at least once by dumb luck. I have seen nothing to demonstrate that Canada has tailored an offense to his players strength. You give this team to Roman from the Ravens and I'm betting you see production every time. Watch the Raiders and you can see how a running back can explode through even a small gap meanwhile the Steelers OL can't push guys back a single step and get blown off the ball. No forcing their will on teams and grinding them down.

Pens are all my fault. I jinxed them in the Let's go Pens thread. Went all optimistic on them after the great start. Since then they spiraled out of control.:frustrated:

I wanted them to draft Woolen, he was raw coming out of UTSA, he's a HT/WT speed guy that could matchup with a guy like Jamar Chase.

I'm surprised he's a starter as a rookie, I thought he would be more of a project.

I’d say I can’t say’s here but to keep it lively, the Mexican pizza disappearing at Taco Bell which upon further review seems revived here in PA so I got nothing other than the obvious

I remember seeing people on here saying "if this happens, and that happens, they could be a playoff team." I was not one of them, lol.

Sad thing is this division isn't that great right now. Had this team played even decent football, they might be in the middle of it. I had them, I think 8-9, 9-8 and they are far worse than I thought they'd be.
