Sounds like golf might even be a little much for him to write about then.
    Maybe Gin Rummy.

You asked what was negative and I told you, to which you responded with some sarcasm about people's feelings.

He wasn't perfect, but was good. I'm sure that was what they envisioned when they started him. Sadly, we haven't seen that version of him very often this season.

No sarcasm. I am really good at that and can't credit for sub par work.:smiley1:
But I am 100% on board with

I don't know....I really like Evans, and He has been a constant on the Bucs no matter the Qb. That shows Me He's a dangerous player.

People tend to forget that one of those awesome plays was with a change on defense, and way too many men on the field ....also they weren't lined up properly.....therefore Trubisky had no reason not to throw deep for Heyward....it was a no risk situation, and another of His "awesome " throws was a somewhat unbelievable catch by Claypool on the sidelines. A lot of Wrs will not make that catch. He also made a nice hands catch that was clearly behind Him on a route(which He doesn't do often).....thrown by Trubisky.
Claypool actually saved our a$$es/Trubisky's quite a few times yesterday towards the end of that game. I'm hard on the Man .....So I give Him props.

Madden's problem with Smith-Schuster was that he was popular. In Madden's world, no athlete who isn't a hockey player deserves to be well-liked.

That's not a knock on Evans. I just don't see him as being as explosive as Hill or Waddle.

Mason's first one was bad. He was out cold. Pickett's didn't look anywhere near as bad, but with concussions it's impossible to say what the long-term impact will be.

The real QB controversy isn’t Pickett vs Mitch.
It’s going to be Pickett vs the QB class of 2023

Tomlin sold on KP will be fighting the KP haters who want the Steelers to draft stroud, young, richardson, Levis or van dyke.

what has Pickett showed as a QB so far? he yelled at a few d lineman? who cares, he doesn't' have the juice, it's so obvious already. Mitch also stinks, but Kenny isn't winning that game yesterday period.

Well considering Trubisky (QBR 48.4) is a 5th year pro and Kenny (QBR 38.2) is a rookie...
I guess we are in awful hands.
Mitch entered the game with a 13-12 lead about midway in the 3rd. Drove us to 2 punts right away.
Then a TD (which did win the game)
And he did help chew up 4:38 to not give Brady a chance.
Both QB's struggles could also be related to the poor ground game, in this case a better one with 77 yards.
So, I guess the fuzzy logic is applicable: The 5th year guy barely out plays the rookie.
Our troubles are deeper.... Allowing Tampa to march down the field on a 14 play 73-yard drive would be one example.
Being 25th in rushing is another..
Being 31st in total yds Defense is another...

But yes, Mitch has some better numbers...

    Also very odd
#1 Tua has an QBR of 80 and #2 Josh Allen has a QBR of 75.5... I like Tua but I'd take Josh over 10 Tua's.. also, I wish we had that problem.

No one has said he's been lights out, we all know there's going to be growing pains and rookie mistakes. The difference is, most of us want him to do well and succeed where you do not. You clearly want him to fail so you can clamor some more about the Steelers drafting Bryce Young. That's not going to happen. Might as well jump off that train and on to the Pickett one. If he ends up being a bust, you're not out anything. Except for the "I told you so", which I have a sneaking suspicion that's all you're really concerned with.

As long as the ground game remains awful and the Steelers stay committed to the run, no QB is going to do well in this system. You’re putting them in too many 3rd and longs which is not a recipe for success.

I vote for Mason to be the backup over Trubisky.

It's not a " I told you so "...I watched him in College a LOT, He's Meh...He had one good year out of 5, and the ACC's D during that time was a National Joke, a College game day punchline...

Bottom line, with me...I want a FRANCHISE QB ( especially with Tomlin ) not a QB who might be ok ( Ceiling ) Because that's what you're getting with Pickett...

If you look at Young, Stroud, Hooker.....Mahommes,Allen, Hurts...Pickett isn't in the same stratosphere...

You may...Get Kirk Cousins, Derek Carr, the next 10 years out of Pickett...We need better...

    It's nothing personal with Pickett, It's true I didn't want him, thought it was a stupid pick...But it's not a " I told ya so " ...He just isn't IT... You'll see

Yes, but still, the bottom line is that it is extremely unlikely they give up on Pickett after what will basically amount to a partial season.

Have the Steelers shut down Friermuth? Now there could be a problem ,multiple concussions in very short time.

    Ignore Mark Madden

He is not a very intelligent sports person and is highly despised by most Steelers players and coaches

They will not give him interviews so he fights back by being an a$$

His main demographic is the 12-18 year old group

He knows little about anything but hockey and wrestling

You’re a very emotional person, makes it hard for you to be objective. Case in point, clinging to those 4 picks without considering the context of them. I’m not going to explain it to you because you don’t give a ****, you just want to beat the drum that Kenny sucks and Mitch is fantastic and future franchise QB.

Nothing in his play since taking over has indicated he is a bad draft pick, quite the opposite. He has good accuracy, shown good mobility picking up key yardage with his feet, goes through his progressions, guy looks like a leader out there to me. He’s doing fine for a rookie who has about 2 games under his belt so far.

Any coach that would pull a rookie QB off the field with what Pickett has shown so far would be a complete clown. As soon as he clears concussion protocol he will be under center again.
