No way the Steelers will beat Brady if he played 10 more years. Right?

I think the division is still in play. Especially considering how the rest of the North is playing.

I can just see Mitch and Matt Canada on the podium now, arm in arm, raising the Lombardi. Well, actually I can’t, my imagination isn’t that vivid.

It wouldn’t be hollow to the players actually playing the games, and I would rather build momentum and confidence with the young guys working their way up on our roster than draft higher.

To stay in the race we most likely need to win in Miami Sunday night. I know it was improbable yesterday but the Buc are really not playing great ball and Philly in Philly will be almost as unlikely as a Bills game. Can’t be 2-6 at the bye. 3-5 and if TJ comes back possibly we can stay in it for a bit.

You get to 3-5 at the bye with home games against a Saints team which is winnable and the Sunday night game the following week against the Bengals you most definitely have a chance. They should be worst case at 3-5 1 or 2 games back in the division with 4 division games still remaining and 3 of them are at home. So again this is why I came out and said don’t write a season off after 4 or even 5 games and a 1-3 1-4 start. Too much can still happen and we saw it yesterday that with just one win and in one week you can get yourself right back into the division race which is exactly what they did yesterday with the win over Tampa.

Everyone thought our Division might be the toughest in the league to play in , but it looks like the worse every team has flaws.

Ravens- Can't play with a lead, they let every team back in it seems. Lamar can be amazing, but Lamar at times makes a lot of boneheaded plays with fumbles and Ints. But, I think they are still a decent enough squad.

Bengals- This is probably the most talented team in the division, but they don't appear to be world beaters. Chase looks like he came to life yesterday for them. Still gave up lot of points on their defense. But looking at them they have talent but appear to have issues on them.

Browns-If you keep their running game in check you will beat them. Their defense is awful... god awful. Not sure why being that they have a lot of high draft stock across the board. Alex Highsmith (minus no TJ Watt) is out playing Myles Garrett, that is if you base stuff on Stats, I know Alex is not treated with blocking protection same way Myles is
They will be hard to judge until Deshaun starts playing. I just hope Deshaun falls flat on his face. Texans have to love seeing the Browns struggle as much as possible.

Steelers- The schedule is just brutal- If they Steelers some how can get to the bye week, and take one of the next two games, they can stay in the hunt in the 2nd half of the season. But, it pretty much means beat the Ravens x2, Bengals again, and the Browns. 4 must wins can't lose any of them and have to win a few other along the way. Seems like a task, but if get a little healthier get TJ Watt back you never know what happens.

But even if that happens its just gonna be like last year, we are gonna get demolished by any good playoff team.

But I am not even gonna talk about that, because that is a pipe dream, you have to get back to .500 record to even have a start a thought process of making the playoffs.

As we’ve seen with Watt, it only takes one injury at the wrong (for them, right for us) time to weaken a team.
