This isn't baseball, and likely will never work that way.
I don't think it is quite time to do the 'chicken little' act.
It is true, the draft hasn't produced a big-time player except TJ since 17.
Kenny Pickett may fit that bill, but it is too early to suggest that.
The Bell and Brown mess really seemed to set planet Pittsburgh off kilter.
    Then the Shazier injury.
And of course, the decline of Ben.

Scanning Free Agency which compliments the draft, there's a few signings.
They really need to score better in the Draft, especially later rounds. And really work the line of scrimmage.
In Free Agency, I hate going for other team's stars.. I prefer to find solid younger players that sometimes get caught in a numbers crunch or system change. Some times you can keep your depth grade higher.
If Kenny works outs, then you do want to keep his uniform clean and find that running game which is currently MIA.

2017 - They did get TJ @ 30, amazing a pass rusher like him fell that far. JuJu was pretty good, I wish a deal could have been made.

XFL? Can we trade him and Bush there? Asking for a friend.

That's hilarious! I thought the same thing

Acquiring better players is part of the solution. Rotating different players in will get the same results running the same offense and defenses that have been shown to be impotent. JMO>

what this shows is....NO PLAN. No bluerprint, NO CLUE of who we are and we want to become. add in this years draft, and even more confusion.

    The desperation is overwhelming here.
Personally, I think I'm going to have to move on. This has become the "How many ways does Mike Tomlin Suck" forum.
    Traffic was bad, Mike sucks

I'm of the opinion, you are what your record is. We are 1-4. When you are 1-4, nothing is good.
I figure if something doesn't change, you probably will see some changes.
Until then, no joy in Mudville.

I believe (now I don't know for sure) that's because of theTuitt deal was up coming..., and they couldn't keep both.....Tuitt, and Hargrave both.
People forget how that whole Tuitt situation set us back on the D line.

    No I totally agree.
I was just pointing out that They, along with Tuitt would have been a huge difference on this team.
That's why I advocated drafting so many D players last year. Of course being as I do in believing the D is the most important.....people just thought I was being My usual self. LoL

    Karl,
We’d hate to lose an informed and rational member. If there are folks who drive you away with incessant screeching on a theme, you can set them to “ignore” and let their posts flow on by. It’s like a spam filter.

That is what I meant, sorry...
What I really think is that there are probably 3 posters that are Bungal fans that have multi log ons and post the same thing over and over and over.... lol

Oh, I think they’re (mostly) Steelers fans. The board is like therapy. It provides a place to let out a virtual primal scream or two when a fan is frustrated and needs to find someone to blame for losing. It’s just that there are some fans who need a LOT of therapy, and are in primal scream mode seemingly 24/7/365.

Lol... I got a good chuckle from that. I agree.
My god, I am in awe of how because someone's socks don't match, it is Tomlin's fault. Very imaginative.
I worked for a loser org and have seen far worse for longer. The only reprieve I ever got was I spent some time with the Saints, the year before the Super bowl and the year of.. Tom Benson and company were top notch folks.

My father was 'in close' with the Rooney's and he loved Art Sr. We weren't too far from the Brownstones and I am old enough to remember Mr Rooney at Christmas time.
My ties to Pittsburgh run deep. I just can't live there because of the cold... I hate cold.
But I love to show up Sunday into any random neighborhood tavern (Beer Garden) and watch the Steelers. It is almost better than going to a game, almost.
