That would be me. The older folks kept telling me it was coming. I've only known winning. Some pretty depressing Playoff games but at least we were in the Playoffs. I do not know the NFL as well as a lot of football fans, I just assumed we'd keep rolling along with Kenny.

yes - us older folks have seen it, we have perspective. We lived thru Mark Malone, Kent Graham, Bubby Brister and Cliff Stoudt. Many young here don't realize how good Ben was and how bad Tomlin is. Now you are seeing it, firsthand.

You should have seen it live. The first drop by DJ I turned completely around away from my son and screamed at the top of my lungs "Catch the F%^*$#g Ball". This girl behind me couldn't believe how passionately upset I was. The rest of the game I just kept face palming. At the end of the game she said I can't believe you guys are still here. I told her I will never leave a game before the clock hits zero no matter how bad it gets.

 

The beating by Detroit on Thanksgiving in 83 came out of nowhere. Very surprising.

 

Ben wasn't consistently great. ESPECIALLY IN THE POST SEASON. That's the reality.

How bad is Tomlin in comparison to Cowher?

How bad is Tomlin when in comparison to his peers since he became HC of the Steelers? Several coaches had better QB's.

I think that fans need to have the proper perspective. Not a limited perspective. You feel me?

In 1998 the Steelers loss 5 straight games to end the 1998 season. In 1999 the Steelers had a 6 game losing streak. Cowher went on to win one Superbowl and make the HOF. Proper perspective. You feel me?

Should I go on in terms of Tomlin's peers? ONLY BB OR COUGHLIN HAS MORE THAN ONE CHAMPIONSHIP WIN. Coughlin and BB had losing seasons.
