I got a little bit of a problem with this and need to throw a flag on it.
    From my personal experiences:
    - I have witnessed multiple times, a media guy comes to the locker of a player and asks questions. The next day I read his article and the quotes are applied to a totally different context.
    - I was interviewing Daryl Pounds once and another guy butted in and pissed him off so bad he tore the locker door off and ended interviews for the season. The reporter had been writing unsubstantiated rumors about his personal life - this is about football.
    - I have seen my questions/responses applied to others articles.
    - The Shanahan mess in Washington was media driven... the drove a wedge into the RGIII relationship and created a bond fire there. I saw it right there. * Note: RGII wasn't a great QB by any means, Kyles offense helped him immensely, but none of that garbage transpired until they printed it which causes friction.

Pittsburgh's media, I happen to think, are pretty darn good. (Except for the Madden guy which comes off as some sort of ranting fan act)

So I don't personally know anything about the Atlanta deal, but yes I have seen what bad media does.

I've seen some poor practices by members of the media, too, but lumping everyone together as some posters here do is bull****.

The guy from the Pounds story should be banned from the locker room.

Madden is a gutless fraud, doing nothing but stirring things up and avoiding the locker room most of the time so no athlete can hold him accountable.

All of the Steelers WRs suck. The only exception is Pickens however DJ and Claypool may corrupt him total cancers. That were trained by JuJu and AB.

He is quick and shifty and has no problem getting open but he could improve on YAC.

It's like they think he is another AB ( AB before Burfic broke his brain)

AB in the early years was first at practice and last to leave workaholic to improve his craft.

AB could turn a 6 yd slant into a 48 yd TD

Johnson turns a 6 yd slant into a 6 yd slant, in that respect he is not even in the same class as AB ( AB before Burfic broke his brain)

Are you Mike Smiths 3rd cousin ? Didn’t you work for the Falcons ? Is Mike Smith related to Kenny Smith or Dean Smith ?

Yeah I worked for them as their photographer on events and charity events. I knew Mike Smith during that time. Arthur Black blasted the media several times for what they did to his relationship with Mike Smith.

There was a point when we had AB and Martavis Bryant who could both do that. Bryant's rapid decline was a massive loss that often gets overlooked, I think.

Like, it's great that we can pick up all these excellent WRs in the later rounds of the draft, but imagine if we hadn't had to pick Sammie Coates etc. and had got a decent LBer or DB instead.

That narrative has been bandied around...* The Steelers and their ability to draft and develop WR's in unparalleled...

AB was a " generational talent, but like Kreighoff stated ( pre scrambled brain )... Bryant, Uber talented, but issues also...

The current crop...Cosmo Claypool, high draft pick... Terrible, overrated AF imo...

DJ ..Above average... Again ANOTHER high pick, not a Star...And is turning into a pain in the A** already...

Pickens... ANOTHER high pick... Another player who seems to have immense skills, but the concerns with him was always HIS attitude...

Bottom line is/ and the common denominator is ( minus AB's draft status and accent )

High picks...Talented, but all seem to have red flags...But are they REALLY as good as the media portrays them and the Organization as a whole, and their supposed WR culture?

Just because Blank blamed the media doesn't mean it was their fault. Usually in those cases, it is someone who did something that was out of line. Instead of looking in the mirror, they blame the media for actually telling people about the lousy thing they did.

He's not wrong. Fans in general are a cesspool of armchair gm's pretending to know what they are talking about.

What does that have to do with Blank's habit of blaming the media for his own failings and those of his team?

It's still going. Johnson really should not get in a war of words with Ryan Clark. He is hopelessly outgunned.
