Does Tomlin Own a Pencil

We see him on the sidelines with sunglasses on but I have never seen him writing anything down from what he observed from the field. I see Andy Reid, and Belicheat plus a few other head coaches writing whatever down. Certainly he is not trying to retain all he sees. If so it is not working.

 

Would not do no good if he did , he sucks. I was listening to 93.7 the fan today after the game, and they was ripping him and the coaching staff bad../.. they said something abt him i didn't know they said the media loves him and heaps all the praise on him .. but in reality he is a "me guy" and is very conceited ......

 

A pencil? I'm not even sure he owns a playbook. And I'm serious.

He collects a hell of a paycheck. Other than that, I got nothing.

 

Steeler coaches only use crayons they got with kids menus from restaurants

 

Oh he does stuff, just not what we want out of our coach

Steeler Offensive players don’t have Microsoft tablets on the sidelines.
They use Etch-a-Sketch handhelds.

put on sunglasses. check

not worry about getting fired. check

not have a losing season. uhoh. can't use that anymore. check

look good doing all this stuff. check

don't give a rats azz. check

not know what to do to fix problems. check.

 

After that debacle yesterday and the concern is a pencil shortage

 

We’re down 4 scores with just minutes left to the game. Tomlin ponders our odds of going for it on 4rth down. “I want to be aggressive but not stupid!”




What’s to ponder there coach?

 

he's nothing more than a "rah rah coach." fans like to point out that he never won a super bowl without cowher's players.. the truth is he's hardly won anything in the playoffs without cowher's players.. once the team leaders from that era got old and retired, this team became known for being undisciplined. three straight blowout playoff losses and not a single postseason win since the 2016 season.. hardly any playoff success with maybe the best overall offense in the nfl during the mid 2010s. 2016 was literally our only legit postseason run of the past dozen years, since the super bowl in 2010.. we would have had another embarrassing first round exit in 2015 against the aj mccarron led bengals if not for burfict and pacman gifting us a win, the only other year we got past the first round in the playoffs during that time span.

Don’t use Cowhers players the fanboys get defensive about that. Just say the players he inherited from the organization. Once those players left things have been going downhill especially when it comes to the playoffs and contending. Ben was the last domino and now everyone is seeing what a full MT team of players and coaches looks like. Enjoy it!

 

And when they do issue him a pencil, make sure it's BOLD so we can all follow along at home like this thread.

 

He has one but lacks the iron to sharpen it with.

 

Pencils can be erased and signify fear of mistakes. Tomlin doesn't live in his fears and therefore does not own a pencil.

You hear of coaches being burned out after 10 years etc because they work too hard, sleep on the couch etc. Tomlin will never have that problem.

TOMLIN is putting in a cool 30 hours a week based on his teams preparation. Maybe 25

 

The cheapest brand of underarm deodorant works longer and harder than that.
