I was not picking on Pickett...I said if Mitch played the same way the fans would be chanting the backups name.....

it was not Ben being immobile... they can move now and it looks the same

It looked the same with Trubisky

And now it looks the same with Kenny.... Kenny is just lipstick on a pig that is Canada's offense

Tomlin has set him up for failure. He’s got those Baker Mayfield stats.

Yeah, why I mentioned how bad the OL was.

You did mention that and the running game. But I don’t think Najee’s abysmal performance can be blamed completely on the OL.

I watched Najee his entire career but the difference was he had men moving people and winning the LOS.

I saw your comment and it made me wonder if a RB plays for a powerhouse college team does that make him appear much better than he really is.

Right now Warren has outplayed Harris in two of the last three games. Warren at least hits it up in there hard without a juke or stutter step.

In the pre season all I heard was Harris has put on weight and his thighs are huge but I just don't see it on the field.

I wonder if Harris is injured because if he isn't maybe let Warren start just to lite a fire under his Najee's ass.

Yeah, the Alabama line was full of five star recruits and they got major push and opened holes big enough for a semi to drive through. Unfortunately, the holes are smaller and close up quicker in the NFL so I’m starting to wonder if Najee is going to be able to make the adjustment. He’s missed many openings this year and just doesn’t seem that instinctive as a runner. I have my doubts about him at this point. Hope I’m wrong.

Pickett did throw for 300+ yards today. Ben's first 300+ yard game was his 12th start (13th game). As great a start Ben had, he was a game manager due to the great defense and running game he had supporting him. Pickett doesn't have that luxury this year. I expect him to do much better, but the Tampa Bay game may be a tall order.

Agreed. This is going to be a rough ride. Asking a rookie quarterback to throw 52 passes in his first NFL start is not good. Oddly enough, it probably should have been more. They wasted a couple of possessions by running Harris into the middle on first and second down when it was clearly getting them nowhere.

Pickett doesn't have the line, the running game, or the defense that Roethlisberger had. It isn't even close. He was out there trying to carry the team yesterday. I doubt he's going to back down from that challenge, but it's going to create problems.
