Seriously, they are not benching Trubisky after tonight. He had one ugly miss, but he really wasn't the problem tonight.

Not going to happen I am afraid.

For that matter, while I did say Week 5 at the earliest, I will not be shocked if the team elects to safeguard Pickett until after the bye week; Week 9. Until then, this is, more or less, what the Offense will look like. Who knows though?!

Between the two, I can imagine that Matt Canada will have a greatly reduced role and Sullivan takes over. I still don't believe that Canada will be fired. I do believe a demotion is in within the cards though as Sullivan does have OC Experience.

Well he's still part of the problem. Why is the offense flat out disappearing in the second half?? They are having the same problem in the second half this year that they had in the first half last year. He's inconsistent at best.

Mitch was better in the 1st half and was garbage in the 2nd half. They couldn’t get a 1st down on 3 straight possessions. They needed this win tonight badly and didn’t get it. Even if they beat the Jets next week don’t see how they win any of the upcoming games after that. If Brissett throws on you and makes plays how are they gonna stop guys like Allen, Brady, Tua,and Hurts.

Missing Johnson before the half was ugly. One three-and-out was a drop by Johnson on a beautiful throw. Another had Garrett in his face on second down and the linebacker coming clean in his face on third.

He wasn't good at all the first two weeks, but he wasn't the problem tonight.

Not benching Trubisky until they get rid of Canada.

It was Trubisky's fault Johnson dropped a perfect pass and that the line fell apart on another drive? Okay.

We don’t need a quarterback who “really wasn’t the problem”. We need a quarterback who is the solution. I’ve seen enough of mediocre Mitch. Time to give Pickett the reins. There’s no good reason not to.

Yep. Absolutely. Without doubt! Park their butts on the pine while creating long sustaining drives.

    Please put kenny in

Its hard watching checkdown mitch. The times we go over the middle he throws to claypool in double coverage and pat in triple coverage. We need to figure out how these other teams shutdown the middle of the field

I’d get rid of the OC before the QB.

They aren't going to abandon their plan for the season after three weeks, especially not when Trubisky played fairly well. It's not happening.

Trubisky played better in this game, he is the starter but I will say the leash is getting shorter. Pickett may well start in the next two weeks if Trubisky does not close games out and get some wins. If we lose next week than Pickett is coming in within two weeks. If we lose then next 2 games, Pickett is our starter going forward. So I am thinking if we dont win some games Pickett is our starter by week 8.

I see logic and reason have been abandoned. He completed that pass to Freiermuth. He damn near completed the one to Claypool. The Browns made a great play on it.

I know it might have gotten Trubisky killed, but they should have gotten Freiermuth involved as a receiver earlier.

It's more than one errant throw. His play is erratic. He did a better job tonight of reining himself in. But he just is not good enough. His mechanics are awful at times. The Steelers are 1-2 and would easily be 0-3 if the Bengals could have managed an extra point. They tried Trubisky and it didn't work. There is no better time to make the switch.
