I think it is more like throwing a bunch of **** against the wall to see what sticks.

Its the lottery ticket approach. Just keep buying tickets and holding out hope that one of them ends up a winner.

With TJ heading to the 4 game IR, someone can be added. Don't know much about Anenih other than he was more of a small DL in college.

Well at least you know where on the Defense the opponent will attack.

    Or is that too obvious?

He had 10 sacks as a senior for the Houston Cougars last year. Anenih had a pretty good preseason for the Texans with 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. He's 6'2" and weighs 245.

well since there are no other TJ Watts out there, you do the best you can to put some bodies behind malik reed and alex highsmith. the two they just added have 9 forced fumbles and 10 sacks between them in the pro's. they also have brian flores as their new coach. we shall see. it won't be tj watt good but if they help this transition so be it.

34-3/8 " arms too. 4.67 40 time guy. those are pretty good numbers for an OLB. 251lbs i saw.

Godzilla would still be a drop off from TJ.

If I was Canada I would show the TJ week 1 highlight reel to the o-line and say he's not playing Sunday. Then walk out.

I don’t think anyone is saying not to try just that none of this will remotely lessen the drop off in the defense with Watt out.

For some reason that statement caused a lot of consternation before.

Yeah it’s pretty much a no-win situation. Near impossible to replace TJ Watt.

I agree. I think they are doing the best they can to bring in guys that may have some upside. I just don't see it working out.
