Welp. I've done it again. Purchased the NFL package at its full financial obligation but yet here I sit on Sunday watching it on regular TV again.

So far this season 0-2 for my purchasing pleasure.

The same for me I get the game again this week, and I just subscribed to Amazon Prime to see them play the Browns.

I’m now more concerned about these Amazon Thursday games.

I just realized it might only be live. No way to start from the beginning or pause during the game. And or ff during commercials if I had paused.

Hope I’m wrong but I can totally see this as being an issue they overlooked. Argh guess I find out tomorrow.

Edit: Just found the FAQ and at least it seems allow what I want to do.

    https://www.amazon.com/salp/tnf-help

Yes. Go to any Thursday Night Football game and select “Record Thursday Night Football” or “Add to Watchlist and Record” to enable recordings for the full season. Enabling this feature before the game starts will provide you access to the full game replay and the ability to watch from the beginning if joining late. Enabling this feature during the game will provide you access to the full game replay only, but limited ability to scrub back to earlier in the broadcast. Enabling this feature after the game will provide you access to future game replays and the ability to watch from the beginning.

Wait, don't you live in Indiana? It's a rare patch of land there that isn't getting fed the Colts/Jags.

I don't think you'll see residential addresses getting it via Sunday Ticket. DirecTV and Amazon signed an agreement last month that permits bars, restaurants, and other large business venues the access to get TNF via their DirecTV for Business accounts. It's basically DirecTV trying to provide something above and beyond local and national telecasts to the 300,000+ businesses that have its service, knowing they're losing rights to Sunday Ticket after this season, and with it potentially some bar and restaurant accounts.

Yep. I live in that rare patch of land. 30 minutes outside Cincinnati. All Bungles fans around me and only a handful of Colts fans.

If you look at that color coded map. Where the Red meets the Blue in Indiana is actually the end of my street. That is the county line which is the daylight savings time zone and it always separates me from either getting the game or not. In this case that area gets the Miami Vs. Baltimore contest and not the Colts Vs. Jaguars game.

You're lucky. We get the Jets vs (checks schedule) Tallahasee State JV's.

I get the Pat game but I refuse to pay for another channel I won't use much for TNF. NFL really sucks doing this. They should at least carry it on NFL Network.

I'll listen on the Steeler website radio next Thursday.

I bought the dish one year and only needed it twice. The Steelers are on in my area 99% of the time.

If the color analyst guy mentions Canada's offensive changes after Ben 467432x's this week like last week my head will explode.

I agree. I was complaining about it in the game day thread.

I have a friend that lives in that area but he's a Bengals fan. Not really a die hard one though so I could probably watch the game there. I lose my mind too much during games with laser like focus. Probably would be embarrassing.

I'm in the same boat. Probably doesn't make sense to have it on auto renew. Luckily I can't get directv, so I just have nfl package itself.

the way i see it is.
If the team does well or great of course they will be on a wider screen.
if TS suck then it will be harder to watch or find
If we had been blown out in cincy i'm sure the coverage would have been limited and local
    2 teams at 0-1
    sorry, not good marketing
sometimes you have to cover your bets if you wanna see them play

This is not the first time someone pissed in your cornbread

Just out of curiosity is this a fresh batch

Or did you save the old batch in case it happened again

In either case I’m not eating your cornbread

I eat Jiffy Mix in a hot greased cast iron skillet in the oven

I tried making my own and I’m not sure it was better

If you have a good recipe please share or pm me

I didn't have much appreciation for corn bread until the last couple of years, so I've yet to come up with a blue ribbon recipe either. I did make a batch not too long ago with some fresh blueberries and jalapeños that turned out pretty well with smoked barbecue ribs and homemade cole slaw.
