He may ultimately be out for the year, but for the 100th time you’re just guessing. Nobody is giving you credit like your are some kind of genius.

That's a real shame if true. Last year it was Alualu, and that hurt the run defense. Now we have to go without Watt. Damn!!!! At least we know who the Comeback Player of the Year is going to be. Sucks.

About halfway through the game I was going through available players in my fantasy leagues and preparing to add the Steelers Defense as my initial waiver request. Needless to say I've cancelled all those requests.

Pats didn't look good vs Miami. Could still be a good pickup

Pats never look good against Miami at the beginning of the year. That's like a yearly thing.

I just re-watched the play. It really was easy to read his lips saying he tore his pec after the play.

It feels so odd to say that I'd be thrilled if Watt is only out a month.

I haven't missed a game this century. So, ya, I'm kind of a big deal.

It would be best case scenario if this is true. He would miss the Patriots, Browns and Jets. All are winnable games with Reed or Jones filling in.

We still have a heck of a defense. They still put burrow and pressure on their entire offense after watt..... only problem was being gassed.

If best case scenario is that Watt's pec is partially torn i would likely reconsider and just stash them on my bench. If he's gone until next year i don't see myself picking them up. I need the person that's replacing him to be at least 80% of what Watt is and I'm not sure if either Jones or Reed are capable. I didn't see much pressure from that frontline after Watt left and they started racking up penalties in the secondary (although the officiating may have played a big part in that). They were definitely tired and struggling from being on the wrong side of a lopsided time of possession battle. If this offense continues to be as horrid as they are it's only going to get worse with the injuries on the defensive side as they start to wear down from being out there too long.
