Which is why the thought of cutting Mason and signing a vet goes poof

I don't think that was ever really in question, but the Browns did claim Kellen Mond off waivers from the Vikings, so he could push Dobbs for the No. 2 spot until Watson returns.

I would drop Tuzska and signing Roche off Giants PS for a month

Tuzska might be a better all around LB....I don't think he is.. but even if he is, Roche is the much better pass rusher. Bring him in to start the season and if it's not working try to switch them after 4 weeks

I was wondering that myself. I thought he showed a lot of promise in the pre-season games.

Yup, but its a lose/lose cause the Pats dont have a good offense either.

I watched episode 4 of hard knocks when they played the Steelers last week, and he really doesn't look like he belongs on an NFL field. He just looks too small and weak to be able to play. He also mentioned something about hearing a crack in his knee at the end of the game.

I did like when he was on the ground and gave a handout to Layne so he could get help up and Layne just walked by. Blough then yelled back at him "HEY, YOU SUCK MAN" I thought that was funny.

To me he looks like an Arena player.

OK, keep in mind I’m talking about him as a PS option, not a starter or even 2nd stringer. I don’t watch Hard Knocks, but I watched the game more than once. Blough didn’t look like an NFL starter, but he made some plays. The 4th quarter TD pass where he sold the run and drew the DBs to him before throwing was a savvy improv, and he took the hit to get the score.

Better get him a physical first with that cracking knee thing.

Hmm, weird, we're not seeing this Vaughns kid signing on the PS.

I'm guessing he wasn't offered? Something he's not doing in practice or in his routes?

From the eyeball test, he has the talent and the attitude to be at least on a PS somewhere.

Rennell Wren is a former 4th round pick for the Bengals. He has good size at 6'5" and 317 lbs but has been injury prone and has only started 2 games.

That's what I was thinking too, but I've been checking the pick-ups and no one has signed him yet.

I thought he'd be a better fit than White or Sims.

Like to know if he was offered and is waiting or no offer yet from the Steelers.

I think they like Sims because he could be the backup return guy.

I think he's exploring his options right now, he might find another team with less WRs ahead of him than the Steelers.

Has to be right? I'm looking at other practice squads and they have more than one WR on them at this point though. Really thought he'd be a pick-up somewhere.
