Official Game Day Thread Steelers vs. Lions

3-0 may be meaningless but it sure sounds nice. I know better then to get excited about it. Few years back a NYG friend was super excited for the season after his boys went 4-0. Turned into a terrible season for the Giants.

 

I think the Lions had an undefeated pre-season the year they went 0-16.

To put this in context, I argued that Watt should have been out of the game after the first quarter. He was apparently deeply upset by me questioning the coaches, so he started trolling with sarcastic comments about how they should have never played Kazee Sunday. I pointed out that such comments leave out the difference between the DPOY and a backup safety. I wasn't saying nobody should play. I was saying they should protect their stars. He then responded by suggesting I didn't understand the sarcasm in his Kazee comments even though my response showed that I did understand exactly the point he was trying to make.

As I said, there is a useful discussion to be had regarding how much teams play their stars and their other key players in exhibition games. Given the injury scares with Watt and Johnson, the news about Harris's foot injury, and the loss of Kazee, it is absolutely relevant to yesterday's game. I simply prefer that we take a more productive approach to that discussion than Glenn did yesterday.

Did anyone , besides me...Scream and shake their fist at the TV when dumb A** Popcorn had Watt in so late, and had his knee chopped...

Then of course when asked, he had his usual ( doesn't make sense BS ) saying...

" You can't box without sparring "...wtf! I can't wait until this Fraud is gone...He is literally clueless!
