He was ok, thought he was trying to be better in coverage today. had some issues recognizing some stuff, but he'll get better.

 

The best thing about the Steelers is they make decisions with 0 care of what the fans think. If the coach thinks guys need to play, they play. If you disagree, become a coach and make a different decision.

 

I think Tomlin put on a little weight, too. Care to comment?

 

I love Robinson's effort and the way he hits. I just don't think he's ready for significant playing time just yet. He was exposed on some plays today not just in coverage, but against the run.

 

That's what I meant, you could see him processing things in the defense versus what he wanted to do.

 

I agree. He’s not ready for prime time yet. Hope he sticks and makes his bones on special teams this year.

 

I’m not sure why you think I get upset when people say stuff about Tomlin. It’s well known that I wanted him gone a few years ago. I just like to point out when people say dumb stuff like you did.

Yeah I thinks it's important. As well as i rather him knock rust off instead of do it an entire week 1 game where it increases the risk of injury.

 

Why would a coach kick an onside kick in a preseason game?! With no chance to win and may get players hurt

Almost done with the game but Tomlin won an easy challenge. I guess that a sign of good things to come.

He is going to IR, but I guess I don't know if it is a temporary IR or all year?

If it is a broken bone it would heal in a few weeks right?
