I will say that our secondary has looked really solid in this game, our run defense not so much.

The Steelers finish the preseason 3-0

 

Well, it will be an interesting season! My takeaway of this team right now is more positive but still some questions/concerns:
Positives:
*Offense has improved, from personnel, to even the play-calling and little nuances (change snap count, tempo, following through on fakes, etc)
*Pickett has a big upside
*Trubisky is better than I thought he'd be. He's still fairly young too but I'm confident in his skill set. The Lions starting front 7 are actually pretty good and Hutchinson is the real deal. The last part is that I commend MT for how he played being under duress because of a very leaky O Line
*Starting D is solid overall (especially against the run)

Concerns:
*The Offensive Line is struggling in pass pro and getting out in the run game
*The procedural penalties were pretty brutal and sloppy. This could cost us some games if it stays like this
*Defending Intermediate/deep balls was an issue at times

Could be a special season, if they get the penalties in order and if the O Line can figure it out. Seems like there is a need in some personnel changes?!

If those problems stay/grow, this could be an 8-8 team, or.....If they correct the issues, it's a 12+ win team in my opinion. Could go deep into the playoffs too. So many factors, but I'm optimistic!

My observation is that the o-line sucks.

 

Do you really think they can't figure out how to play with the DPOY?

 

Apparently, you don't know the difference between the DPOY and a backup safety.

 

-The oline needs help
-When the dline holds up, things look alot better
-Edmunds had a really good preseason
-The oline also needs help

 

Funny how much the board hall monitor loves to troll if anybody dares question anything Mike Tomlin does.

Glenn is trolling. He doesn't like that I dared question Tomlin having Watt in the game well into the second quarter.
