I recently brought up some names that went from Oregon State to Pittsburgh and I forgot to mention Markus Wheaton. Great receiver for the Beavs! Class act. (Others: Keenan Lewis, Hamilcar Rashed, Steven Nelson)

What are some of your favorite college teams that have sent great player to the Steelers?

    Go Steelers!
    Go Beavs!

Not my favorite team but the Steelers do like them some Ohio State players.

A good portion of SEC, B1G and ACC talent have had success over the years here. Do not forget the likes of Notre Dame or USC either. Now, as for which is my favorite?!

Could not tell you thar sadly. I mainly watch the prospects and not so much the teams.

A handful of UT Vols over the past few years. Not sure I'd call them great but Cam Sutton is filling a need right now. Ramon Foster was better in his prime than anybody currently on the OL. And Josh Dobbs was the smartest aerospace engineer the steelers have ever signed. Lol

Tee Martin was a Steeler for a couple of years. What is he up to these days, if you know?

Henry Mondeaux is a Duck. Dennis Dixon was too. David Paulson the back up TE we had for a couple years in the early 2000’s. Chris Oldham was a duck too.

not too many winners in there

There's been a lot of playersfrom Penn State that have played for the Steelers. Off the top of my head:
    Dick Hoak
    Franco Harris
    Jack Ham
    Darrin Perry
    Jon Witman
    Todd Blackledge
    Jeff Hartings
    Jesse James
    Pat Freiermuth
    Marcus Allen
    Matt Bahr
    Derek Moye
I'm sure I'm missing some more Steelers who were Nittany Lions.

Yeah, Tee Martin is a legend here in Knoxville and is by all accounts a really great guy. Winning a natty sure helps with that sentiment and was the last time that UT was relevant! He was coaching WRs out at USC a few years ago and doing well and then he was convinced to come coach here in Knoxville under Jeremy Pruitt. Folks here were hoping Tee would eventually be the Vols HC but he seemed to get swept up in the Pruitt BS where he had something like 16 level 1 NCAA violations and got fired for cause. What a POS (Pruit that is) but I digress. Tee is now coaching WRs in Baltimore, grrrr....

The Iowa Hawkeyes to Steelers connection isn't off to a great start with James Daniels. Hope it gets better.
