    I just saw this at a theatre with the great sound systems and reclining seat

    This is the way to go with this movie

    The first 30 seconds are slow then 2 hours 10 minutes of good movie

    Waiting to watch this at home is a mistake

    I also went at 1 in the afternoon and got the free senior popcorn :smiley1:

    No. He only has one real scene in the movie. I don't want to spoil anything, but Kilmer's real life health issues played a role in his story here. They kind of had to considering how poor his health was at the time. (Throat cancer. He's now cancer free, but it really took a toll on him)

    Overall, I enjoyed the movie and it might actually be better than the first one. Even if the main mission of the movie gets a little "Iron Eagle 2."

    And it was a nice call back having Jennifer Connelly play Penny Benjamin.

    "You've been busted, you lost your qualifications as section leader three times, put in hack twice by me, with a history of high speed passes over five air control towers, and one admiral's daughter!"

    Goose: "Penny Benjamin?"

    "And you, @#$hole, you're lucky to be here!"

    You didn't tell them that the free popcorn comes when you buy a box of Depends from the concession stand. :cool:

    I went on My 1st real date 2 the 1st movie....I had been with a girl before(neighbor), but not an actual date....don't know if I really payed much attention 2 the Movie....so I probably need 2 watch that one again....before I see this one.

    My wife and I went to see this last night. Great movie. I loved that they used real jets instead of just relying on CGI, and I love that they just focused on making a good classic movie instead of trying to modernize everything and be hip with current culture. We really enjoyed it.

    Having the first one fresh in your mind will certainly add to the second

    Definitely see the new one at a Nickelodeon or whatever they call them now
