Lets hope Kugler has a man to man talk with this guy
about pass blocking. Oh wait we have Gilbert? OMG its just getting
worse and worse,Get rid of it quick Charlie before they cart you off the field.
    Is Flozell available?

What? he's a rookie in his what 4th game? Sheesh he got taught a few tricks and needs to be better with his hands and feet. He's still learning

He definately struggled in his one on one pass protection.he has some work to do,but he's learning on the job. Did anyone notice that Baltimore's O line was lined up way off the line of scrimmage. I guess trying to nullify our pass rush. I know our guys have been called for that quite often.

I think i am with with ward on this one....It seems everyone thought we got a steal when we got him but so far he has only shown us why he dropped so far

Wow, this kid wasn't supposed to start and has been at the very least halfway decent in pass protection and above average in run blocking and now "He's showing why he dropped so far?" After 4 games? SMH

You guys bashing Adams don't know jack about OL play. Adams is doing fine for a rookie T and will get better with more real game experience. He is doing better than we could have expected at this point. If you were expecting all pro as a rook, you should recalibrate your expectations.

Sure he's been beaten one-on-one a number of times, and has needed help at times, but he's still adjusting to the speed and intensity of the NFL game and will be fine.

Mike Adams hasn't been a pro bowler by any means, but I think he done a good job. Yeah Paul Kruger ate him up Sunday night, but Kruger has played well against us in the past and made a lot of our tackles look bad. He was obvious he needed help, but they didn't want to seem to use a TE or Running back for Kruger they seemed more worried about Suggs, Suggs didn't do much, but Kruger was having a field day, very poor coaching adjustment in my opinion.

Calling Adams a disgrace is a bit much. Other than the Sunday night game he was playing excellent, he is just a rookie, give him time guys. I'm sure you all didn't go into your workplace and light it up and be the top guy in your first year.

It probably has more to do with the type of thread this is. Like you said there isn't much bashing going on here but it was intended. I think Knox is just tired of these types of threads.

My friend he is a professional, he gets paid to pass block,(and handsomely)
not just be a run blocker. Why can Clady and others who have come
in as Rookies and START be held accountable and our players
because they are rookies are not? Why? We need him to be fine
now, he was Mr. everything coming out of OSU even though he
bench pressed 18 reps and was a dope smoker? Next best thing
since sliced bread, and can't pass block? Be accountable and
HIT SOMEONE MIKE, when in doubt, fire out.

clady thomas long this type of tackle are dominant from day one but usually they are out of reach for us in the draft , other less stellar need work to develop , hope adams improve , right now has lot to learn on pass blocking

You mean the Clady that gave up 9 sacks and had 7 holding calls last year? BTW he was a top 12 draft pick overall.

You are dillusional in your expectations for a second round rookie. He is doing a good job overall.

outside in move kills him. he is on the opposite side of what he is used to. he has played 4 games, what's max's excuse?

how many times i've watched two guys rush from max's side only for him to not touch either one of them. colon and his bear hug take down.

let's face it this line is not good. quit listening to the tv announcers and watch these guys more than on a good run. they are as bad as any other year. nothing has been fixed. colon isn't all pro and just settling into the position. they are not good. i'm so sick of people saying they are improving. bull chit.

they even showed the graphic of how much we run between the tackles. we are way out of sync with the rest of the league in doing so. there is a reason why though. our line is not good or mobile what so ever. big changes need to happen. this is absolutely no suprise to me.

when adams or any other of our linemen can just go after one guy grab hold and bury him in the pile is one thing. their problem is if they have to take a guy on one on one in the open where a little footwork and athletic ability comes in, well, we are aweful.

haley has knocked the sacks down this year because of the dink and dunk, the line hasen't gotten better.

Could have something to do with the style of RBs we have been using too. Our off Tackle style of runner has been out most of the year. Both Redman and Dwyer are more up the gut guys.

rob, it's got so much more to do with mobility of our linemen to get out in front of plays. batch, rainey, mendy and dwyer are more than capable of getting the edge, if our linemen could. namely our guards. max can't collapes his side either like adams. we know foster isn't mobile. adams can but colon can't get there before the rb's. it all works hand in hand.

there has been some improvement. not as much as some would like to think. Ben was still getting hit a lot and Lefty was getting pressure all night.

most of the big runs that the rb's would get was pretty much all on the rb not giving up.

i will say Colon has been better and so has Foster. Pouncey isnt as good as he was in his rookie year and i wouldnt mind seeing him move to another spot and let Legs play center. Adams is a rookie that is learning on the job and hes a project. i expect him to be much better as the year goes on and we have no idea what we have in DeCastro and Starx is what he is. a big body that doenst move very well. if he gets his hands on you, you are done. if he has to go get you and chase he struggles.

Yeah I'm not exactly sure the line has turned the corner. I was gonna say the reason the line is SEEMING better is because Haley Ball gets rid of the ball so quick. Also our runners are not going through clean holes either. They are actually ranked really high in yards after contact. That lets you know they're not hitting clean holes imo.

i have always said pouncey is not being used to the best of his abilities until they get two mobile guards next to him. it helps the tackles and it helps the center. give me DD and a mobile LG like pouncey, next to pouncey, and a good LT and we would be 95% better. i think i'd keep adams on the right side and either draft a young stud LT and a mobile LG or go FA hunting.
