    Well, he's probably a better 3rd option than Renner (who I like). He has very good physical attributes for the QB position.

    Mettenberger has never won a game he started. I read a stat yesterday that he was 0-13. But, he'd win a game if he had our offense. The Titans were down right awful when he was there.

    Gradkowski has been placed on IR. His cap number remains on the books. Mettenburger will play for the minimum $600K.

    I was at the game a couple of years ago in Nashville when Bell ran all over them but I remember right at halftime we had a busted coverage and he hit Nate Washington for like an 80yd td. That's probably his one shining moment as a pro. In the past few years we've managed to help some pedestrian scrubs look good. It's one thing to make the Steelers look bad when you're against us. I just hope he doesn't make us look bad when he's for us. LOL! You guys think he's higher up the chart than Landry?

    good he is not half bad, he may even be ok with some weapons..Do you guys think he will play vs. the Panthers if so how much do you speculate ? Don't worry speculations are fine with me ...

    Was surprised when I heard of this signing. He does come with some prior baggage. But we need a 3rd QB and he has starting experience.

    Extend him now!!!

    I saw him on the cut list yesterday and wondered if he'd be on the Steeler's mind. Glad to see them bring in some competition for Landry and kind of nudge Grad out the door. He won't contest Landry's position as the #2 until late in the year or next season imo.
