You know they sell it monthly as well. I bought it part way through the season last year, because I was having stream problems and I really like the ability to not only watch the Steelers game after it ended, but I was also able to watch other "Quick" games over my lunch break during the week.

I cancelled it when the Playoffs started. I think it was $14 per month for the premium edition of NFL+

Last year I had the college for $30/ month. And didn't need a subscription to directv. I wonder if they'll have a discount for students

Most preseason games are televised by local TV channels outside of the main TV contract

I suspect that is the issue they would have to negotiate with 32 small companies

For the last 30 years I have gone to the beach and with the exception of one game I have been able to watch the Steelers either on national tv or the local channel showed it

I’m guessing we may not see as many
Prime time games this coming season so for $14 I’d gladly get 1 month while on vacation

That's basically $100/month that YouTube wants.

I assume NFL+ is a “stream” item and if I had a subscription I could get it on my computer anywhere then just hard wire it to the tv hdmi input

    Does this sound correct

I wish they had a plan where you could pay for individual games.

Not sure what "Steam" means. I watched it on my Computer with my Chrome browser. I have a TV setup as a 2nd display in my living room that I am able to watch all my Movies and Games on with my home computer. I would think it would work on anything with some type of internet browser.

I believe it is not available on Roku.

On which devices can I watch games with NFL+?
    • Updated

Preseason games are generally available on a wide range of devices, including phones, tablets, connected tvs and desktop/laptop computers (subject to local blackouts).

Live Regular Season and Postseason games are generally available in NFL+ only on devices* (e.g., phones and tablets, *Broadcast blackout rules may apply) Learn more on how you can get live access by visiting How can I access the live game via NFL+?

If you have an NFL+ Premium subscription, you can view replays for Regular Season and Postseason games on any supported device.

The NFL App and NFL+ have been tested and optimized for the following devices:
    • iOS 13+ iPhone
    • iOS 13+ iPad
    • tvOS 13+ Apple TV
    • Android 7+ Phone
    • Android 7+ Tablet
    • Android 7+ TV
Connected Devices (Requires Update to latest versions)
    • AndroidTV
    • AppleTV
    • Roku
    • FireTV
    • XBox
If your device is not listed here, NFL+ may not function proper

If I am reading this right only replays on Roku etc?

Like a rising tide lifts all ships, NFL teams raise their ticket prices, the remote viewing audience take a hit also.

So I just need to know if I can record the games. I'm YTTV subscriber and obviously if its on TV I can record it and start watching it part way through. Been searching so far haven't seen that mentioned.

I'll pay if can record and watch after its started from the beginning while skipping commercials. Also would like even if watching live to be able to pause and then come back after some buffer to again FF through commercials to catch up to live again.

I know I never paid for DirecTVs streaming version because the games were only live as a non DirecTV customer. So I only used NFL+ last season, but don't want to wait until the game is done.

EDIT: Holy hell, very next link I checked answered my question. https://variety.com/2023/digital/news/youtube-nfl-sunday-ticket-pricing-2023-season-1235578319/ So that's a yes and need to double confirm.

Not a terrible price for YT TV subscribers. Less than 15 bucks a week for the season. Better than the last couple years I've had to stream it since I didn't have DirecTV.
