YT’s nfl Sunday ticket is $$$

ok, so I used my subscription for the first time this week. Last week the Steelers game was on local channels and I went and watched the doubleheader at a friend's house.

So, I did test out my Iphone and Ipad apps last week and it worked fine. When I tried to access the games on my Fire TV today it would not let me- said I had to give my location so they knew what games were available to me.
This could only be done on my phone and it proved to be a much more lengthy process- even though I could access the game on my phone, just not the TV. I had to delete the Youtube app and reinstall it and that finally did it for me. I hope this does not happen every week.

Otherwise though I find that I can watch a different game on my phone, ipad, and on my TV at the same time- which the Sunday ticket app via Direct TV would not let you do (if you had it running on the Ipad, it would lock out the phone unless you closed).

 

Quick update I suffered more buffering on the Thursday night game I streamed on Prime this week than any of the multiple games on YouTubeTV I streamed through the first 3 weeks. So very impressed by Google and YouTubeTV for their production value. Very happy.

 

It's so much better than when it was on directv
