    All Right,

Maybe lame but something to debate. lol

    Head Coach

    Buy

Yeah I know I am labeled here as a Tomin lover and as several of you pointed out ...its weak sauce to use the argument of that there are no sexy alternatives out there but I like stability vs coaches carousel (so many historical bottom dwellers have done this and I think its too early to crown the Bills coach as a solid coach (see Rams coach)

    DC

    Sell

Look at his resume. Find me another DC with as many players drafted in the 1st thru 4th rounds.
Playoffs, record against Brady era Pats

If we assume from all accounts that Tomlin is not a micro manager then KB imo should be dropped.

    OC

    Hold

Way too early to look at anything here until a 2-4 years if he lasts that long.

    QB

    Buy

See the Tomlin argument I guess I am a BB lover too. lol

What are your thoughts of the current state going into this season?

Sell HC and QB, their time is done.

Sell DC, he never had a time.

Hold OC, give him at least this season and next with a QB who can move a little.

    Altcoin longshot: Haskins

Haskins is interesting. Maybe he can be a utility type Slash.

I am giddy about the WR crew and Ebron (if he doesnt get the dropsies) and ND at RB.

The OC and OL coach could really make a name for themselves here.

    HC

    Sell

    DC

Hold. Defense was looking pretty impressive until the barrage of injuries last year. Then again injuries are part of every season.

    OC

Hold. I am not as enamored with Matt Canada as others seem to be. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

    QB

Hold. Ben will be the man barring injury. If he can do a good job of managing his body, he can have a productive 21. Part of managing his body means sitting out if his ailments are hurting the team.

I don't get the love for Matt Canada but time will tell. I do not dislike Tomlin but it is time for a new HC. As for Ben I go back and forth. 50% of the time I think he is done and 50% of the time I think he is are only hope to keep up with the AFCN.

HC - sell. Tomlinism has gotten stale

OC - hold. ??? to me

DC - sell. Cannot figure out 3rd & long.

Ben - hold. Until we can find a qb to reach his feebled state of play.

Najee - get him the ball.

Haskins is not very athletic, he's a QB or bust.

He’s got a “hold” on everyone’s list. Should we sell on him before seeing what he’s got?

He already is a bust. That's why we have him. If the Steelers were to have drafted him as a #1 pick and we got rid of him, isn't that how he would be described on this board?

I was using a different definition of "bust".

BTW, does any word have more meanings?

What I find interesting is that because Haskins is black and is a QB, it’s assumed that he’s mobile and athletic. No one thinks that Mason Rudolph can be a “slash”, but he’s probably as mobile as Haskins.

I didn't even know he was black until you mentioned it. But now that you mentioned it, I still don't care.

Canada gets the love because Fichtner did so poorly. It's more of hope than anything.

The Canada love really surprises me. People seem to think that some kind of Bill Walsh-like offensive genius. Google his background, the guy has bounced from job to job every couple of yrs like a nomad. Good to great coaches usually aren’t journeymen. If he came from the outside it might be different, but he was here last yr. He shares at least some of the blame for that offense. If Ben played Fichner last yr, he played Canada too. And I don’t see why won’t do again this yr. maybe this offense will be radically different and dynamic in 2021, but I’ll be surprised if it is. Lots of wishful thinking.

I have to admit that I never seen him play @ O State but thought that he was a T Pryor clone.

My only gripe with him is charging money to witness him in a bowling alley getting drafted or that is how the story goes where Davenport goes to a soup kitchen and isnt fixated on Twitter marketing.

Having said all of that ...I did some real bonehead things in my teens and 20s that was just plain dumb so I cant really go there or I am just calling myself out as a hypocrite. lol

Well said again Good Sir. You are crushing it in this thread. Lol.

These are my sentiments exactly. I will remain cautiously optimistic about Canada as the OC. I find it hard to believe that he is going to make the type of changes some people are expecting this season. But, I hope to be proven wrong.

I don’t think it’s a race thing really. It’s just lazy expectation. Example: I was on an intermural basketball in college. One of our guys recruited his roommate (a black guy) for our team. We all thought: “wow, we’re getting a great player now!!” He turned out to be a horrible bball player, worse than me (and that was hardly possible). Sometimes things are not what they seem or what you expect.

    OK,

Admittedly I knew nothing about MC but what on his resume got him the gig? Ben? Seriously ...maybe this has been argued at nauseum but is it about him that the fans should be pumped about? Was he great at Pitt? I now wish I never peaked. lol
