Nah.... I hear ya bro, but they ain't losing 10. Now if they got to spend prep time working on each weekends dance routine then maybe and so will a lot of other clubhouses so I ain't worried

Yup, and had that play connected we would probably seen an entirely different game with an entirely different outcome.

Ben acts like he's still running that Arians offense .

I guess that's what we'd expect from Todd the Wet Sprocket (this is quite an obscure reach - so maybe Todd Haley and the Comets would work better)

I think it was a good call though. The play was there for the taking, and Ben and MB just failed to connect.

My concern is with consistently passing up on the check down and going for the hero throw (whether the hero throw is a bomb or trying to squeeze it into double coverage 15 yards downfield on 3rd and 2).

yeah I would like to see the success reward ratio on those long bombs. My eyes tell me they are not very successful.

Later in the game I got the distinct impression that Ben was bombing away believing that substantial gains from PI was far more probable than actually connecting with his receivers - and right on queue each receiver played right along with the always expected flag tossing antics. It would be nice if our QB/WR's could prove otherwise and they actually connected on more of these with PI just being moot icing on the cake.

To be fair, every receiver in the league looks for a flag every time they dont catch the ball. Annoying but thats the way things are now.

I know Blast. But what's always impressive to me is when a receiver actually pulls down the catch AND PI is called that can be declined. That's a glorious win win. Wouldn't that be a refreshing trend?

I think you might be right on that. Maybe we can fight fire with fire on Sunday and use the PI play against the Ravens for a change.

I think Flacco uses it every other throw lol.. Looks like he is just airing it out to get the PI call.

I can't remember the exact statistics, but I saw something where last year it was pretty poor, but the year before it was quite good. I was hoping the difference was Bryant.
