Yikes - Steelers Plane makes an emergency landing in KC

should have just replaced the pilot mid flight.

 

Kansas City, wonderful town, I spent a week there one night.

Canada must have filed their flight plan.

 

Man I used to fly a lot with a position I held. Never had an issue except turbulence. I can't imagine hearing we have to make an emergency landing.

 

Were piloting responsibilities given to Canada too?

 

No, because the flight ended up with a touch down.

 

I'm just happy they made it to Kansas City safely and everyone is safe.

Did anyone say exactly why? Mechical issues of some sort I'm assuming.

Sounds like they sat on the plane in KC from 5:00am to 11:30am, that would suck big time.

Especially if your like 6'9"" like Washington and even worse if you sat next to Washington.

Not good and never ever want anything like that to happen but it did remind me of Seinfeld. Keith Hernandez was on it and George started talking about a plane going down and an entire sports team gone.

Once Andrew McCutchen of the Pirates got out and kissed the ground. He said they all thought the plane was going down.

 

I was on a plane that had to and it would have been nice if they told us the reason ASAP. Pilot announced it and my section starting freaking out a bit. Turbulence was bad that night so we all assumed we be in trouble. The stewardess noticed our panic and informed us a heart attack was happening in first class. I have no idea of knowing but overheard some people talking that he didn't make it.

 

that is the type of thing that caused the plane ride from hell in the WWE. Stuck in the plane for 8 in London while the liquor flowed. Id be thankful the Steelers don't look like heavy drinkers
