It was called Steelers Addicts.

 

It was the old Steelers.com Board. He was just lost in the Internet desert for 8 years trying to find this board. Kind of like Moses, but a Steelers fan.

 

There's two camps here... "the realists" and "the PollyAnnas." There is an epic ongoing struggle between these two camps. Obvious.

 

I was like Moses until I climbed to the top of Mt. Washington where the ghost of Art Sr. handed me the 10 commandments of being a Steeler fan.
#1. You will root for no other team than the Steelers.
#2. You shall wear no other image than the Steeler logo.
#3. You will not take the name of Jack Lambert in vain.
#4. Honor thy Steeler Hall of Famers from the past.
#5. Rest on the Sabbath day by watching the Steeler game.
#6. Do not lie or cheat like the sinner Belichick.
#7. Do not kill unless it is the other team's QB.
#8. Do not steal from a Brown's fan because they are poor in spirit and lowly among the brethren.
#9. Do not covet another team's coaching staff as tempting as it is.
#10. Do not lust for thine enemies wife. (Darn it Gisele you made me brake that one).

Realist... much to the dismay of the PolyAnnas. My truth telling gets under their skins.

 

What about the 3rd camp? Those of us who chose to be optimistic because it beats the hell out of being a Debbie Downer. I guess I realize that no matter how I feel about a game/the team, it wont impact what happens on the field, so I'd rather feel good about things. Now, there is some reality for you!

 

Does this mean that when I predict we will win every game that when we do win, I am also telling the truth? This would make me the realist wouldn't it? If so, this creates quite a predinkydink because there is no way we can both be realist. Very perplexing!
