Since I’m not home and forgot my TT, I had to make one. Hey, it worked last week!

Had a Myron Cope TT and one day I found the wife cleaning with it. She just couldn't understand the crime she committed.

My grandson has a doubleheader baseball game every Sunday this fall. I asked the lady who made the schedule why did she pick Sunday afternoon? She said because Saturday's are too busy for people and no one ever has anything to do on Sunday afternoon. Some people just don't get it.

Good God, are you older than me? Very few will get the Raquel Welch reference, fewer 1 million BC. All that do will wax nostalgically about dem ‘70s Stillers, n’at.

She didn't say one word during the movie but she would have gotten my vote for the Oscar.

To get technical (and my fellow left coaster Santee would agree) the Raquel reference alone counts as two.

I’m old enough to remember Raquel and the movie. They advertised the hell out of it. I was very young, but I remember. My dad had a small construction business, and they’d tack Playboy centerfolds and Snap-on tool calendars in the wall. I remember that too. Edgy stuff, that the new prudes wouldn’t approve of.

Local legend had her there when she was a child. Elementary school age. I don’t think it was for long.
Of course, that’s what La Jollans claimed. It could all be made up like “Munchkinland”, also in La Jolla
Edit* I just looked it up and, she was a lot older than I'd heard when she was there. Graduated from La Jolla high. They were my high school's big rival!

that looks official enough to be effective. i got a brand new commemorative three rivers stadium towel when my boys went to the home preseason game. i called them and made a request during the game and they came through with that one. my long time towel went into my brothers coffin and i'm sure he's up there swinging it.

I still have my original TT that my brother bought me for a Christmas present back in 1976. It has never been washed to this day. Only comes out during playoff games. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I found my wife cleaning with it or throwing it in the washer machine.

Love these TT stories! My nephew, who is a Charger fan, couldn't believe it when I told him we BUY these towels. He thought they were stadium give aways like the surrender towels the Chargers used to hand out at home games!
