I trust your opinon,it sounds like you have been around to understand things are not right here.I am a homer,but Rooney's need to make a statement with how this team is run. The front office has provided a much needed upgrade of their roster talent not making the playoffs is unacceptable.

 

I won't disagree with anything you said, except it was not just the O that was disappointing. This D got shell shocked in the first game of the season, and were submitted to the same abuse by a team with O line problems, a QB who had been sacked 9 x already this season, and we looked as bad if not worse than we did opening day. I get it sometimes you lose, but this was a total blow out and lack of preparedness showed.

I was looking at how they deploy Pickens, especially in 3rd down.
Pickens should ALWAYS be #1 read.
Secondly, Freiermuth is #2.

I’ve never claimed to be any more or any less knowledgeable than any other member of this board or any other fan for that matter. I’ve been a Steelers fan since the 70s but I’m not consumed with football the way I once was, I have way too many other things going on in life. I can sit down and talk football with most anybody and enjoy doing so. I know good football when I see it and I know bad football when I see it. I know good/bad coaching when I see it. I’m your average, hardcore Steeler fan like most of the members of this board. There is only one thing in common with all that. He should have been fired 5 years ago, but still here. We still have a few mildly defending him.

Nothing is fixed, nothing is cured, until HCMT is sent packing.

I hope there are 5 or 10 teams lined up to hire him. It would be one less team the new Steelers HC had to actually prepare to play against.

Kenny isn't going through his progressions. He panics and either scrambles early or checks down if the primary isn't open.

 

I think he knows his interior line is garbage.

 

Couple things:

1. Let's stop generalizing with things like "90% of You screaming..." It's a tired rhetoric that typically misses a true mark. There are always some with differing opinions at any given point in time, but I see a lot of back-and-forth here that's blaming the "90%" when in reality it's a smaller number. You can always call out/cite specifics if you so choose.

2. Adding 5+ question marks to any question just calls for condescension. Again, if you confront someone you can document held an opposing view, fine. Otherwise, you may just be preaching to the choir, with an extraordinary amount of punctuation.

 

Kenny's problems stem from bad play design and calling and terrible run game and running for his life.
If they don't fix this, they will have successfully killed a franchise QB.
not something you want to stake a claim to fame for.

 

Bigk has done absolutely nothing to imdicate he’s a franchise quarterback.
