Xmas day Immaculate Reception patch.

So I got an email from the Steelers Pro Shop with their Xmas pricing special on jerseys and thought I'd look at their offerings to see what the prices were like.

The first ones they list are the Immaculate Reception celebration replica throwback jersey. I hadn't realized that they had a special jersey and patch for next week. Has anyone seen them around town or tailgating recently?

There's also one for TJ and one for Najee.

 

For the low price of 180 dollars. I have not priced Pro sports gear for a long time. Obviously a very long time.

 

I think it's scandalous. Prices for jerseys is out to lunch.

 

As a kid in the 70`s all my Christmas presents where Steelers stuff. Mom had it easy with me. I still have a stocking cap, but I cut the little pom pom thingy off about 45 years ago. All time favorite was the letterman type jacket I wore the elbows out of it .

 

Was just at one of the Pro shops this past weekend. They had a special on a Terrible Towel that commemorates the anniversary. They were 2 for 15. I picked up 2 as presents for my kids. I could kill myself for not picking up the Franco T-shirt that commemorates the anniversary seeing now that Franco passed.

Was there in the summer too and picked up 5 Heinz cup badges. They were a buck apiece. They told me that the Steelers had to de-Heinz the stadium and the logo on the cup holders had to go. So, I scored 5 of them and have given them away again to my kids and a friend or two. They aren't making any more, so there are only 65,000 out there.
