If like me, you stream through the Xbox, there is an online app called iheartradio that allows you to stream Pitt stations. One of them is STEELERS NATION RADIO.

I can now get DVE and Steelers radio for my 24/7 fix. Chk it out.

Unlike Bono, I HAVE found what I'm searching for...

Yeah, no prob and I love it!

In fact, I've had it on while posting to this board and so far, interviews w/ Timmons, Colbert, Our Oline cord, and right now, Gay.

I;m a night person and I can even stream it @ 2am to get my fix.

Nice tip. Thanks. Of course, iHeart Radio is also available for iPhones and Android. (IDK if it's available for PS3/PS4, but I'd wager it is).

Do they do game broadcasts? As someone who has to work more Sundays than not, that would be a Godsend.

I had to get a new phone Wednesday and it's called a Samsung Axiom. If my old phone would've lasted 3 more months I would've gotten a free new galaxy. I don't know ANYTHING about these phones but can anyone tell me if I could get that radio app to listen to the Steelers games on that phone and also just be able to listen to that radio station through the week as well? That would be cool to listen to on the way to work.

Yeah, it runs on Ice Cream Sandwich so you just download it through the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clearchannel.iheartradio.controller

It's an Android phone, so as long as you have a data plan (I don't think they sell smart phones without them anymore) it should work. Just search iHeart in the Google store. It's a free App.

    Beat you by a second.
You just type it in the search bar, or look for it under Sports -Pittsburgh.

I got the app but when it asks me for my zip code and I type it in it's acting like I didn't type it in. What do I do about that?

That's when I give it to one of the kids. They figure it out real quick. :lolol:

Seriously, I have no idea what to tell you there. Keep trying? Put in a different one? I don't remember even having to put one in.

I got it but is there any way that I can make it be like something that's always readily available or do I have to always go through a search for that specific station?

(mumbling under breath) stupid kids... LOL. Yeah what I did was just said that I would create an account later and it actually let me go in there. I got the wdve station playing now but they're not talking Steelers it's just some rock music playing. This band sounds like they want their songs to be played in the really crappy Sonic games. LOL. Do they not always talk football on here?

Nope. That's generally just a regular radio station. They play live games and broadcast live from camp once a week. Well, they did, but this week was the last one of course. ESPN 970 and Steeler Nation Radio are the two that play Steelers stuff regularly.

Yeah, that's Dve, which I love too but you're looking for the Steelers Nation Radio which I think it's a WDVE production. I Think.

Can just go online and get it. I wasn't aware of it until I saw it online via Xbox. Now I know it's there so you can stream it with any online platform, I guess.

Anywayz, it's a Godsend for me.

There's an option to "Save Station" once you've found one you like. Then it goes into your "My Stations" tab. So far, I only have Steeler Radio and WDVE saved.

Well so much for that. "Due to circumstances beyond our control, you cannot listen to the Steelers radio game broadcast on iHeartradio. You can listen on a desktop through steelers. com or through Steelers Gameday on you mobile phone IF you live within 50 miles of the stadium. "

    FFFFUUUUUU

so grats guys. If you live close enough to actually get the radio broadcast. The rest of us are screwed. And a big ffffuuuu to Sunday Ticket. No. I'm not getting you just so I can use my phone and really chew up data.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve, but I can't test them until Saturday when the next game airs. I'm certain one of my options will pan out. I'll let you know Saturday night. :superstition:
