Fire alarms at Steelers hotel went off at 3:00. Everyone evacuated. Determined to be a "false alarm" and everyone allowed to return at 3:30.

    F'ing prick bastards.

Why are the Steelers staying at a Boston hotel? They would be better off somewhere remote.

Actually I'm pretty sure that Boston is remote in relation to Gillette. Not totally sure but I think their stadium is pretty far outside of Boston proper.

If you were working at a hotel the pats were staying at - who wouldn't do the same?

It's just part of the Pats culture, and how it's rubbed off on their fans

It's ok to illegally videotape opponents' signals
It's ok to secretly manipulate footballs to give your QB a better "feel" for the ball and avod fumbles
It's ok to jam the opponents' radio communications
It's ok to have a murdering, gang-banging thug as a star (as long as he doesn't get caught)

It's all ok as long as you win. Did I get that right Mr. Bellechick?

Exactly. I doubt this is a directive from the Pats but rather a rouge jagoff fan. I also doubt that it's just a "coincidence" or "unfortunate incident."

If they stayed anywhere near New England it would have still happened. Fans find out where these guys are staying and pull the alarm to wake them up. Happens all the time with hotels with teams in them.

Gilette is not that close to Boston, I believe it is closer to Providence? Where exactly were the Steelers staying? Pats are always looking for edge?

Yes, I believe teams usually stay in Providence, as it's closer than Boston.

What would be funny if the Steelers came out during pregame warm ups and had all the players, coaches and medical staff form the word A$$HOLES on their side of the field like a marching band would spell out words.
