Wouldn't surprise me if we start out 0-4 or 1-3 at best

With all these offseason distractions, injuries and suspensions. I had high hopes for this season but Im afraid we won't be able to overcome this. I hope Im wrong.

The optimism is falling with each passing day.

I look at it a bit different . The Team has been known to start the season slow and then turn it on. With all the things going on it might sharpen their focus and bring them out swinging .

No, it isn't, but losing both Bell and Bryant at the start of the season is a big deal.

If it's 2 games, we are still good going 1-1

I truly hope you're right. I'm not one of those sky is falling type of guys but things are slowly starting to turn downwards instead of up?

Eh Brady may not be there week one and the Pats have a brand new secondary. The 9ers are an absolute mess and probably just list Brooks for some time so there defense has no bright spots. Then Bell comes back and then we will be fine.

But it's not for the season on all! As long as Ben is under center there's still hope

Steelers offense came alive once Bryant was stretching the field. Losing him will hurt Browns production

    YES!!!

You are back in mid season form. Now all we need is for none of this to matter if the Steelers win against the Pats and the season will be on.

Yeah, I think a lot of us thought hopes were high around the Steelers this year.

Turns out, it was just Martavis.

This suspension will mean nothing if they don't win against the Pats on opening day!

We could lose Bryant for the year and I still think we would be OK. Especially when Bell can play. We've got plenty of talented weapons on the offense and we'll be able to move and score.

The only question will be if our D will give up big plays and has a problem with the run. Our offense can still be just fine...it's our D that's suspect guy's and the real question is if they can or can't help us win games.

I hate to drink the kool aid but 8-8 happened because of a poor team and great leadership.
2-2 won't be devastating but the first 2 are VERY winable. I honestly just hope shazier will be up to the test with gronk.

Shark isn't tall enough and mitch may still be a little iffy. I honestly think to match them up is best option currently.

I will say I do fear the passion that may come from the 9ers with all of the down and out talk. They will be worse but I hope they don't start hot. It happens every year when a team falls off.

I don't worry as much about Bryant being out since wheaton is playing well. I think 3-1

If you put Shazier on Gronk he will catch 4 TD'S and 200 plus yards...Probably going to have to put the OLB and the SS when he is on the line, and Timmons and the SS when he spreads out . We have no single player who can guard him. Shazier is no where near strong enough to match up with him 1 on 1 ....

It may only be four games this time.. But it sounds like he's one strike away from losing an entire season. We don't have depth behind Wheaton and Bryant. Coates is an unproven rookie. If Coates doesn't show promise this season, WR will become a big priority in the offseason with Bryant a toke away from missing the entire season.

Chip Gronk at the line HARD and hope SHAZIERS closing speed is the difference for the short to immediate stuff.

We have plenty of Depth. Even if you don't count or like you know who we still have Goodwin,Murphy and Phillips all of them are good Football players. To many cooks in the kitchen will mess up the soup anyway . Brown, Wheaton, and Bell are the main targets after that just need some role players we have a roster full of those guys..
