Have a losing season this year so Tomlin could possibly get fired or would you rather go on to turn it around and win the Super Bowl this year?

I'd rather they win a SB but being a realist I can say that won't happen. This team will be lucky to go 5-10-1 and next game against the Falcons is going to be even worse. The issue with the offense is teams are adjusting at halftime but as with every Tomlin coached Steelers team nothing changes, they do the same things over and over.

If the team does finish really bad I want Tomlin fired, and I hope they get an entire new staff, what we have now isn't fit to coach a high school team.

Of course any fan is going to say SB unless they have Tomlin-hate blinders on. I think a more interesting question is would you rather have a bad season and a coaching staff change, or recover just enough to squeak into the playoffs, lose in the first round again, and have the entire coaching staff be retained. That question will get some debate.

Tomlin goes nowhere no matter what the record is this year. Book it. He's the Rooney's dude. He goes nowhere

I think the question should be this.. considering there is ZERO CHANCE this team as it is currently constructed is winning a superbowl this season, would u rather a complete nightmare of a season like a 3-13 rather than a 8-8 or 9-7.. personally.. as painful as it is to watch , a nightmare season is the only way in my mind that major change will happen. Tomlin and Butler and Porter all have to go.

Not really a stupid post considering the amount of people who hate Tomlin.
It wouldn’t surprise me if there were some that want to lose so there’s a chance Tomlin gets fired. And that’s the point of the thread.

Now me personally I want to win no mater who the coach is.

This is a more valid question. I would still rather turn it around and lose in the playoffs.

Tomlin's a very unlikeable human being so it's easy to hate him

Even if they have a losing season, Tomlin won't get fired. Cowher struggled for 3 straight seasons, and kept his job. They could have a lot more money than usual to spend in free agency in 2019, once Bell leaves. There could be changes on the defensive staff, get rid of Butler and Porter.

I don’t know if those same rules apply though. With the amount of drama surrounding this team over the last few seasons (and Tomlin’s apparent inability to control it)it would be easy to think that Tomlin may already have two strikes against him?

This team is not winning sbl............ At best hope they win 9 games...... 9 will probably get a wildcard this year. Ben is no longer capable of playing a full game and with this defense so bad.... Sorry people. This is the end for this team.........

I hate Tomlin more than anyone on this site, but it's not even close. I'd take 100 Tomlin's if it meant winning the SB this year

But I don't see us winning another SB with this coaching staff
