This is true. Rodgers only has won once. The same can be said with Manning. Denver took a chance with him and he got them to two.

After today's signing, I arrest my case. Not only would the Steelers not be able to sign a single person you named to hometown discounts, they wouldn't have been able to go outside the organization to find an OL or two. If Aaron wouldn't give GB a hometown discount, he certainly wouldn't have came here for cheap.

• Two first-round picks (2022 -- No. 9 overall -- and 2023)
• Two second-round picks (2022 -- No. 40 overall -- and 2023)
• 2022 fifth-round selection
• and a 2022 fourth-round pick

to the Seahawks for Wilson.
Whoa! 6 picks and 3 players....

So, in light of that, the price for Aaron Rogers is waaaaaay over Pittsburgh's budget. (He's since signed but this is a what if)
I don't know how Denver plans for the future.
They have a decent team currently, but this is not a 1-year thing. Wilson has ~5 years to play.

In a fantasy world, I'd love to have seen Rodgers in a Steeler uniform.
But in reality, the price for these guys is sky high, like gas.
Effectively Seattle gets 5 extra picks to barter into a young QB (this year or next)
And Denver has 5 less picks. Yikes.
