Your “evidence” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there my guy.

I’m sorry that the more obvious fact that they didn’t pickup Harris very affordable option while they tender Warren is inconvenient to your narrative. Gee scribe, what is more indicative of how they feel, a 1 game sample size or the fact they are keeping Warren over Harris, hmmm.

    You’re wrong, get over it.

Between 15-20 I should have said. I see him with a Jahmyr Gibbs workload.

Their workload was more evenly split in 2023 while Warrens decreased somewhat in 2024 while battling injuries.

I think you are under the impression Harris was carrying the rock 25-30 times a game. He exceeded 20 only 3 or 4 games.

Harris is leaving because he was 'square peg, round hole' in A Smith's offense. His best rushing was on inside zones. A Smith wants to run outside zones. Warren was better at those runs. In fact, Warren's YPC was better on 7 out of 10 rush concepts. It's why he stays and Najee goes.

In some games it might have been injuries, but Patterson was used when Warren was available, and often to frustrating results. IDK if it was Smith's being comfortable with CP, stubbornness, but CP was not the guy he once was. The play calling and line play was also suspect, not picking out any particular thing, but over all Warren fit's this scheme.

Smith runs a DEI offense. It was the complaint about him in ATL when Allgeier was getting a bunch of touches even though Robinson was clearly the better back.

This. The hope was that he was the HC in Atlanta and that Tomlin would override him here but using Paterson was classic Smith coaching.

Oddly, he didn't do it Tennessee. (Well, not exactly 'odd' when Henry is your lead back.) Maybe Vrabel shut it down, but after the mixed results and heat he took in Atlanta you'd think he'd rethink on the concept.

Hopefully they cut Patterson, so we don't have to watch his slow ass try to play RB.
