Bell didn't show up today which could have meant a decent amount of playing time in Game 1. Now he will ride the bench whenever he does sign. Hope he gets splinters.

If he shows up, you use him. He's just so difficult to game plan against. Base defense he swings out to receiver, if in nickel they run.

Conner can run, but can he runs routes and catch, can he block?

Preseason showed us he can run routes and has good hands. Unfortunately, he just can't block very well.

That's preseason. Regular season he will be up against 1st stringers.

He has no chance of playing the first game. No practice no play. Tomlin rule.

Id bench his ass on general principle anyway.

You can bet Rooney, Colbert and Tomlin have already had some talks on what to do when he does show up.

I am saying he will be up against 1st stringers all game long. In preseason you go up against a partial squad of 1st stringers for a series or 2.

I don’t mind the “holdout”, but his behavior is irritating AF. But I put the team first, so:

    1. Work him into shape, choosing spots where poor performance won’t put a victory in jeopardy.
    2. Use him as much, or as little, as game needs dictate.
    3. When he reports, deem his strip-club crap “conduct detrimental to the team” and suspend him one game, taking nearly a million dollars out of his pocket.
